Chapter 24 Deadly Blockade

Tie Hui stabbed a powerful orc through the heart with a single blow. Just now, he realized that unless the bayonet could accurately hit the orcs' vital points.

Otherwise, simply hitting the abdomen and chest would not be enough to cause them decisive damage.

They were even able to hold on and continue their attack.

Aragorn, Boromir, and Gimli led the way, while Ironhide followed behind, holding a laser gun and keeping watch on the four hobbits, occasionally firing a burst of shots at the swarming orcs in front.

He immediately urged the four Hobbits to hurry forward, and Gimli turned back to Gandalf, shouting, "Let's go!"

Upon hearing this, Tie Hui, who was about to catch up with the group, paused for a moment, then turned around, raised his laser gun, and pulled the trigger at the Flame Demon's head.

The laser struck the Balrog's upper body, sending sparks flying and creating craters.

The Balrog roared in anger after being hit, shifting its attention from Gandalf to Ironbeard.

Therefore, he roared and immediately brandished his flaming whip, ready to strike Tie Hui.

But Gandalf was overjoyed at the sight, and immediately began chanting a spell and roaring as he slammed his staff into the bridge.

The next second, the entire bridge in front of Gandalf instantly broke apart.

The fire demon, who had been wielding its whip above, was also thrown off balance and plunged into the dark abyss.

Gandalf looked down, panting, then turned back to look at Ironhide with a satisfied expression.

Frodo and his companions, having waited for the others to catch up, retreated from the passage.

Seeing Gandalf defeat Balrog, Frodo and the others laughed and wanted to go forward.

Gandalf grinned at the four of them, but the next second a long whip suddenly leaped into the air and wrapped around his ankle.

The whip instantly pulled him off the broken bridge, but Gandalf reacted extremely quickly and managed to grab onto the broken section of the bridge.

But it had already begun to slowly descend.

This scene startled everyone, who immediately rushed forward to rescue Gandalf.

But Gandalf roared, "Go back!"

This angry shout caused Frodo and the other three, who were about to step forward, to stop in their tracks, looking at him with confusion and worry.

But at the same time, the angry shout also brought Tie Hui, who had been watching all this with mixed feelings, back to his senses.

Gandalf looked intently at him: "Lead them on, my child! You will no longer be lost!"

The next second the stone broke, and Gandalf fell directly into the darkness.

Frodo and the others knelt on the ground in a daze, and Gimli stared blankly at everything.

Tie Hui stood there, staring blankly at the broken part of the stone bridge, lost in thought.

"What happened?" Legolas ran out from the back stairwell and asked, puzzled, looking at the scene before him.

Frodo knelt down, listening to the commotion behind him, and turned back to look at him with teary eyes.

As Legolas watched this scene, he gradually came to his senses, and his heart was instantly gripped by unease.

"Gandalf... has perished along with the Balrog!" Frodo cried as he delivered this heartbreaking news.

Legolas was incredulous and staggered forward a couple of steps.

Immediately afterwards, his legs gave way and he knelt on the ground, his face full of disbelief.

Jinli's lips trembled, and tears streamed down her face.

An arrow flew towards him, and Legolas instinctively tilted his head to dodge it.

The orc archers who had been hiding on the stone wall on the opposite bank of the bridge suddenly emerged and swaggered out after seeing Balrog and Gandalf perish together.

Seeing this, Ironhide stepped forward, picked up Frodo and Sam, and shouted to Legolas and Gimli, "Get them out of here right now!"

After everyone had entered the passage, Tie Hui took out a grenade, bit off the pin with his teeth, and threw it with all his might towards the other side.

He then walked into the passage without looking back!
