Chapter 65 Tsk, how come this stupid machine doesn't understand?
Orian returned quickly.
He had an old file that he had pulled out, and the moment he entered the room, his gaze naturally fell on Yin Xiang first.
The vector also glanced at him.
Master Tai stopped there, not bringing it up again. He took the file casually and put it aside. The private conversation just now was really just a little bit of extra information.
They sat down and chatted for a few more minutes, the atmosphere becoming more relaxed than before. When the meeting was almost over, Master Titanium got up and led them outside.
The meeting place was as quiet as ever.
Emerging from there and slowly walking along the passageway near the outer perimeter of the Supreme Council's core area, one can see many areas where ordinary aircraft don't usually linger. Master Titanium wasn't in a hurry to return; as he walked, he casually pointed to several buildings and passageways in the distance, and recounted a few things from the past.
Some of the regulations are from the old days, while others were repositioned later. He didn't say much, just mentioned it casually, but the vector expert listened very attentively.
Just as they were about to reach another transfer channel, a machine came towards them.
The other person walked slowly and with a brisk pace; one look at them and you knew they weren't the type to get lost in this place. She first saw Master Titanium, paused, called him "Teacher," and then her gaze naturally shifted to Orion.
"You're here too."
Orion nodded: "Alita."
The vector heard it and instinctively looked over.
Alita had already noticed her standing beside her. Her gaze was neither offensive nor lingering; it simply lingered on her briefly. Considering that Orion and Titan were both present, she clearly guessed what was going on.
"Is this the one you mentioned before?" Alita looked at Orion, her tone carrying a hint of knowing.
Before Orion could even take it, Master Titan smiled gently beside him and said, "You guessed pretty fast."
Alita then turned to the vector, her attitude quite natural: "Hello, Alita."
"Vector." She replied quickly, her tone a little more relaxed than when she first formally met Master Titanium. "Hello."
Alita looked at her, her gaze not particularly scrutinizing. She clearly didn't intend to bother her much; she had simply bumped into her and wanted to exchange a few words.
"I originally came to confirm a document with my teacher," she said. "I didn't expect to run into her like this."
Vector nodded: "Me too... I didn't expect that."
The sentence was said subtly, but Alita clearly understood it, and her lips twitched slightly.
"I can tell," she said. "Your expression right now is quite telling."
The vector didn't deny it, honestly replying, "The amount of information I received today was indeed quite large."
After hearing this, Alita found the girl even more interesting.
He doesn't pretend or show off; he speaks frankly but with tact.
She glanced at Orian beside her, then looked back at the vector: "So it seems today wasn't an ordinary day for you."
"It doesn't really count," said the vector, "but it's worth it."
Alita's initial polite interest had become noticeably more genuine.
"That's not bad," she said. "At least it shows that Orion didn't mess things up this time."
Orion calmly chimed in from the side, "I sound like I often botch things."
Alita glanced at him: "No, but you sometimes leave things that should be said in advance until the last minute."
Upon hearing this, Vector immediately turned to look at Orion.
"Look," she said seriously, "I'm not the only one who thinks this way."
A fleeting hint of helplessness and amusement crossed Orion's eyes, but he didn't refute it.
Alita watched the two of them exchange words and already knew what was going on.
This girl was not only brought to meet people, but her relationship with Orion had clearly reached a point of naturalness and trust. Given the occasion, she understood that this was no longer a simple acquaintance.
She didn't delve deeper, and casually handed over her frequency: "If we bump into each other later, it'll be convenient to say hello."
Yin Xiang glanced at it, naturally took it, and returned his to her: "Okay."
The addition on both sides went very smoothly.
For a gravitational vector, this feeling is indeed quite rare. Cybertronians don't really distinguish between genders; it's more about species. It's not that I haven't seen Cybertronians similar to her, but in this kind of situation, being able to naturally exchange a few words and have a smooth conversation is truly rare, except for '97.
Alita gave her a good feeling. She was efficient, steady, and her brain module was clearly very clear.
Alita looked at her and thought the girl was quite nice. She wasn't the type to seem frivolous standing next to anyone; she had her own strength, and talking to her wasn't tiring.
At this point, Master Titanium spoke up: "Didn't you have some documents to confirm?"
"Yes." Alita then remembered the important matter, glanced at the teacher, and nodded to Orion and the vector. "Then I'll take care of things first."
Master Titanium took it: "Let's go, I'll take you to see it while I'm at it."
Before leaving, Alita glanced at the vector one last time and said goodbye: "Let's talk again sometime."
The vector nodded: "Okay."
After Master Titanium and Alita turned to the other side, only she and Orion remained at this end of the passage.
The vector stood still, not speaking at first, but turning its head to look at Orion for two seconds. Orion remained calm under her gaze, and even spoke first.
"How are you feeling?"
"That's great," the vector replied honestly. "Your teacher is indeed very capable."
She paused for a moment, then added, "Alita is quite easy to talk to too."
Orion looked at her, the relaxed smile in his eyes becoming more pronounced: "Then I guess my trip today was a success."
"Success is success." Yin Xiang slowly crossed his arms, his tone also shifting, "The score still needs to be settled."
Upon hearing this, Orion's optical mirror shifted slightly: "I guessed it."
"You guessed pretty late."
As soon as she finished speaking, she raised her hand and lightly patted his arm armor.
It was just a joke.
Orion was knocked to the side by her blow, but he didn't dodge and laughed even more unabashedly.
"Why didn't you say so before?" Yin Xiang looked at him, finally adding, "Is something like your teacher being Titanium Master something I can only discover when I'm already at the door?"
"I was going to say that, but if you find out on the way, the reaction might be even stronger."
Vector: ...This brat, why is he saying that again!
She stared at him for two seconds, and could only conclude sincerely, "Orion, you're pretty bad, aren't you?"
After hearing this, Orion's smile deepened, and he replied almost innocently, "I don't entirely take this as a negative comment."
The vector was speechless for a moment, then couldn't help but chuckle softly.
Fine, she put up with it.
-
When the vector returned, Zhen Tianzun was already there.
As soon as she entered, she saw the other person leaning against the wall, flipping through a webpage. Hearing the noise, he didn't look up and casually asked, "You're back?"
"Hmm." Vector brushed off a bit of dust that had gotten on the edge of his armor. "There's been a lot of information to process today."
Zhen Tianzun then looked up at her: "What's wrong? Why are you making that face?"
"Orion took me to see his teacher."
Upon hearing this, Zhen Tianzun's previously casual expression faltered for a moment: "Teacher?"
"Yes." Vector said as he walked in, "I thought it was some kind of senior archives, but when I got there, I thought, oh my, it's Titanium Master."
The interface in Zhen Tianzun's hand came to a complete stop.
Before the vector could even realize something was wrong, he poured himself some energy liquid and continued, "You have no idea how good Orian is at keeping secrets. He didn't say a word on the way here, and even when we got to the door he was still pretending nothing was wrong. I almost shook him to pieces on the spot."
Zhen Tianzun looked at her, and after two seconds, slowly said, "He will take you to see Master Tai."
"yes."
"Did you go alone?"
"What else can we do?" Yin Xiang gave him a puzzled look. "We can't exactly organize a tour group."
The room fell silent for a moment.
Zhen Tianzun leaned against the wall, his tone flat, but something was off: "He certainly knows how to pick his steps."
The vector paused in his action of drinking the energy liquid: "What steps?"
"Nothing," Zhen Tianzun said, looking at her. "And then?"
"Then we just chatted." Vector thought for a moment and continued, "Master Titanium is really amazing and quite different. We talked about a lot of other things afterward, so... it was definitely worth it."
Zhen Tianzun stared at her for two seconds: "It's worth it."
"It was definitely worth it." Vector put down his cup. "And Alita came later, so we got to know each other and even added each other on the same frequency. Overall, it was a very fruitful day."
Zhen Tianzun snorted.
Finally, Yin Vector sensed something was off and turned to look at him: "What kind of tone is that?"
"Normal tone."
"Your normal tone is starting to change now?"
Zhen Tianzun didn't respond to that, but said calmly, "Orion is quite good at making arrangements."
The vector is even more inexplicable.
"What arrangements? Isn't it just taking me to meet his teacher?"
Zhen Tianzun's gaze towards her was complicated for a moment.
The vector was even more confused by his gaze: "What's wrong?"
Zhen Tianzun was silent for two seconds, as if trying to determine whether the machine truly didn't understand or was pretending. After observing for a while, he realized that she was indeed completely calm, and her mind wasn't wandering in any other direction.
So the metal structure on his forehead seemed to tighten up.
"...It's nothing," he finally managed to squeeze out.
"Why do you seem so listless today?" Yin Xiang frowned. "Just say what you have to say."
Zhen Tianzun looked at her, his tone indifferent: "Even if I told you directly, you probably wouldn't understand."
Vector: "?"
What kind of personal attack is this?
She stared at him for a few seconds and concluded, "You're acting a bit crazy today."
Zhen Tianzun sneered, refusing to argue with her.
Vector had wanted to ask a couple more questions, but she'd had enough to do today, and her brain still hadn't fully processed everything, so she wasn't going to play along with his riddles any longer. She waved her hand and turned to go upstairs.
"Alright, you'll say it sooner or later anyway. I'm going upstairs now."
Zhen Tianzun didn't respond, watching her go upstairs. After that figure completely disappeared on the second floor, the room fell silent.
Two seconds later, he lightly ground his back teeth and muttered a curse.
"...You stupid thing who doesn't understand anything."
