Chapter 3 Nine Dragons Pulling a Coffin and Flying to the Moon
Chapter 3 Nine Dragons Pulling a Coffin and Flying to the Moon
Cover the world.
Lu Sheng slowly opened his eyes, a slight smile playing on his lips. He had indeed had a good dream.
"Boss, give me ten servings of fried chicken and twenty hamburgers!"
After sharing, his appetite suddenly increased.
When Ye Fan saw his classmates arrive and came to call Lu Sheng, the dining table was already full of chicken bones.
Ye Fan exclaimed in surprise, "Didn't you already eat down the mountain? How come you still have such a good appetite?"
"Young people have a faster metabolism."
Lu Sheng stood up and said with a smile, "Let's go, let's reach the top."
Ye Fan looked at him with admiration and regret, saying, "If you had this appetite back in school, our basketball team would have had another great player."
"Then who can compare to you and Pombo? You two are a barbarian and an orc, respectively."
Lu Sheng curled his lip and said, "You have the nerve to say that? When it comes to playing basketball in college, you two, one with the Ancient Sacred Body and the other with the Demon God Bloodline, who can compare to you two?"
Even without stimulating their physical constitution and bloodline, they are naturally a level above ordinary people.
In college, these two guys never lost a fight.
Ye Fan laughed, and the two quickly left the restaurant to meet up with their classmates.
Some classmates looked at Lu Sheng with strange and unusual eyes; being unconventional always attracts strange attention.
Lu Sheng didn't even glance at them, focusing solely on reaching the summit. From the top of Jade Emperor Peak, gazing at the mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas, and watching the setting sun, he suddenly smiled and said:
"Nature's creation bestows its most exquisite beauty, dividing day and night with yin and yang."
"I knew that people with the surname Du were all good people. The alternation of Yin and Yang is a great destiny."
Having waited seven long years for this day, how could Lu Sheng not be excited?
To fly, one must take off fiercely.
He wasn't the only one who was excited. Climbing to the top of the Five Sacred Mountains and looking out over the vast expanse of heaven and earth, the Jade Emperor Peak was filled with excited people.
The classmates were moved to tears; this might be the last time they would ever see each other.
Everyone eagerly took photos with the group, wanting to capture this beautiful moment.
For the rest of their lives, when they look at the photos and recall this day, they may feel a unique kind of emotion.
As past memories fade, what will they become in the future?
As the sun set, a golden rim adorned the cloud-capped peaks. Just as the tourists atop Jade Emperor Peak were captivated by this beautiful scene, several dark spots suddenly appeared on the horizon.
With a rumbling sound, the sky resounded with the roar of wind and thunder. The black dot gradually grew larger, and as far as the eye could see, nine enormous creatures descended from the sky, like nine long black rivers.
Nine enormous dragon corpses dragged a bronze coffin down toward the summit of Mount Tai.
After a brief silence, Mount Tai erupted in chaos. Escape! Everyone had only one thought in their minds: escape!
In the blood-red sunset, nine dragons pulled the coffin down to Mount Tai.
Fear, screams, helpless cries.
Fortunately, it wasn't as fast as a meteorite, and most people still had time to retreat.
Even so, when it finally reached its peak, the Jade Emperor Peak was cracked open with large fissures.
Earth and rocks flew everywhere, the mountain shook as if a thousand horses were galloping, and many people were hit by the boulders and were instantly covered in blood and gore.
When the shaking stopped, chaos reigned on Mount Tai.
Ye Fan and the others did not panic and flee. Instead, they gathered together and waited until things calmed down at Jade Emperor Peak. Even though they all fell to the ground, there were no major casualties, only some minor injuries.
Lu Sheng's initial excitement subsided when the Nine Dragons Pulling the Coffin descended; this was merely the beginning.
Nobody knows what the future holds.
The group of people were filled with fear and panic. Lin Jia, a female classmate, whispered, "Let's hurry down the mountain."
No one objected, and Lu Sheng remained silent.
This is the beginning of everything; no special effort is needed.
The group, who were about to descend the mountain, were drawn to the five-colored altar revealed in the crack, and their curiosity compelled them to get closer to take a look.
They should have left immediately, but they were unknowingly drawn in and circled the bronze coffin for more than half a circle.
Finally, Ye Fan and his male classmate Zhou Yi spoke at the same time: "Let's leave here quickly."
This time, everyone genuinely agreed, but just as they turned to leave, a female classmate suddenly slipped and stepped on a large stone, which rolled into the pit and crashed heavily onto the five-colored altar with a bang.
Oh wow.
The five-colored altar trembled, piles of jade blocks and stone slabs cracked, and beams of light shot out, as if the ancient characters engraved on it came to life and appeared in the void.
"What's coming will come eventually," Lu Sheng muttered to himself. "Pang Bo must be here by now."
He looked around and soon spotted a dark figure, which was none other than Pang Bo, who had arrived halfway.
A dazzling light flashed, and the Tai Chi Bagua pattern combined and shimmered in the air.
Soon everything went black as everyone was sucked into the bronze coffin.
Nine dragons pulling the coffin, the journey officially begins!
Cold, shivering, and dark with no light in sight.
The crowd trembled and chattered amongst themselves. Finally, someone asked, "Has everyone come in? Let's count them."
"One, two, three... thirty?!"
The group was shocked, as there were clearly only twenty-nine of them.
The group shone their phone lights on each other to confirm their identities, but Lu Shengcai, too lazy to wait, kicked Pang Bo away.
"I saw you clinging to that big tree and swinging back and forth. Couldn't you have walked faster? You rushed in just before closing the door and almost crushed me to death."
Lu Sheng looked displeased. This guy was teleported from outside the Five-Colored Altar and tumbled in.
Then, unfortunately, it fell on him.
"Sorry, sorry." Pang Bo, tall and imposing, bowed his head in apology, though he still seemed slightly surprised.
"Lu Sheng, you've gotten so much stronger in the years I haven't seen you. You're completely unaffected by me hitting you."
Pang Bo's voice startled his classmates; none of them believed that this guy was a living person.
Only Ye Fan paused for a moment, then stepped forward, looked him over carefully, and laughed, saying, "Lu Sheng and I were talking about you on the way here. It's true what they say, speak of the devil, and he'll be here in no time."
Although Pang Bo's appearance was a little startling, they were classmates and quickly accepted each other.
The most urgent task now is to figure out a way to get out of this predicament.
A group of people speculated about various stories of how the ancestors called for nine dragons to pull the coffin.
Some people also hoped that the rescue team would arrive soon.
But these were all unrealistic fantasies. Suddenly, the bronze coffin shook violently, and after a few moments of violent shaking, it made a final, huge thud, as if it had collided with something.
The ancient coffin was turned upside down and fell to the ground, revealing a crack in the lid through which specks of light shone in from the outside.
The gap was big enough for a person to walk out, and a group of people cheered and jumped out like fish, but they were dumbfounded when they got outside. The earth was reddish-brown, and the landscape was desolate and lifeless. Does such a place exist in the world?
"Where are we?" a female student asked helplessly.
Lu Sheng completely ignored everyone else and said to Ye Fan and Pang Bo, "Shall we go take a look around? It looks like we won't see any other living people here."
