With Feng Baobao's neck gripped, Lu Linglong was having difficulty breathing. It was only because Feng Baobao didn't kill her that Lu Linglong was able to snap her neck with just a little effort from her legs.
Although Lu Linglong practices Quanzhen Kung Fu, which focuses on life, how can her life cultivation compare to Feng Baobao, who is at least over a hundred years old? Even though Feng Baobao has cultivated very little over the past hundred years, Feng Baobao cannot be judged by ordinary standards.
"She cheated, Taoist priest, she cheated! Linglong can't even move, how can we fight her?"
Feng Baobao, the "Hidden Dragon Finger" from the stands, kept shouting and yelling, looking as if she wished she could take his place.
Master Fude rolled his eyes and said calmly, "Quiet down. Why are you meddling in their competition?"
Feng Baobao's ability to subdue Lu Linglong is due to her skill, not cheating. Do you think Feng Baobao could let Lu Linglong continue fighting her move by move? Do you think this is child's play?
Lu Linglong has a sweet appearance, but she is actually stubborn. Even when Feng Baobao strangled her neck with a giant python, she still did not forget to resist. With her arms bound, she twisted her body around her waist, trying to break free from the restraint.
And you know what? She actually managed to break free and create a small gap.
But that doesn't mean anything. Feng Baobao increased her strength, as if she were teasing a playful kitten. The legs wrapped around Lu Linglong's neck tightened slightly, and the gap that Lu Linglong had finally managed to break free disappeared without a trace.
Lu Linglong's face instantly flushed red, and her bright eyes began to glaze over. She seemed to see a glimmer of hope and felt that if she tried a little harder, she could escape this suffocating predicament.
So she twisted her waist even more frantically, muttering indistinctly, "Hmph, Feng Baobao, you won't beat me so easily!"
However, hope is like a bubble, easily burst.
Feng Baobao simply revealed her bright white teeth and grinned slightly. The legs that were wrapped around Lu Linglong's neck tightened slightly again, and Lu Linglong felt a darkness before her eyes. All her struggles became futile.
"Woooooooo..."
Lu Linglong finally lost her voice. Her hands fell limply to her sides, and she collapsed weakly into Feng Baobao's arms as if all her strength had been drained.
In the end, the match ended with Lu Linglong falling into a coma due to lack of oxygen. The audience in the stands were stunned, while Canglong cried his heart out, wiping away tears and calling out, "Linglong, my Linglong!"
This martial arts competition was truly both laughable and pathetic.
Actually, Lu Linglong hadn't used her trump card yet, which was her innate ability to control blood.
However, this thing has too many potential problems. Once used, Lu Linglong might lose her mind and develop self-destructive tendencies. It should only be used in life-or-death situations.
"Feng Baobao wins."
As Master Fude finished speaking, he announced that Feng Baobao had entered the finals.
So far, three or four people have entered the finals. Wang Bing was supposed to participate in the finals today, but unfortunately, his hands and feet were broken by Luke. Not to mention whether he can recover, even if he can recover, it is impossible to recover in such a short time. Therefore, Wang Ai withdrew for him long ago.
But Wang Ai, that old woman, is very narrow-minded. Since her beloved great-grandson can't participate in the competition, then his opponent can't participate either. How can she let others take advantage of her family?
So, without knowing what methods Wang Ai used, Wang Bing's original opponent also gave up the match.
However, they came down the mountain lively and energetic, so it seems that it wasn't coercion, but rather enticement.
P.S.: Happy Lunar New Year! Wishing all readers a prosperous and auspicious year!
Chapter 90: One Person's Story: The Black Mist Above Dragon Tiger Mountain
Three people have made it to the finals, which means that Luke, Feng Baobao, and Zhang Chulan will each have two matches, while one person will have a bye.
But just as the old master was about to announce this, Luke suddenly stood up and stopped him.
"Old Celestial Master, I am arrogant, but I have some thoughts I would like to share. What do you think?"
The old master narrowed his eyes, then smiled and said, "Alright, then tell me about it."
Luke frankly said, "Dividing the competition into two matches is too cumbersome. Let's just be more direct. I will fight Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao alone. If I win, the two of them will then decide the champion. If I lose, then there's nothing more to say."
The old master glanced at Luke and said, "Alright, since you've said so, then it's up to you. Tomorrow's match, you'll be one against two, that's settled."
Although the old master couldn't quite figure out Luke's strength, he knew a good enough number of Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao's strength. Let alone the two of them working together, even twenty people working together wouldn't be enough to defeat Luke alone.
Looks like I'll have to talk to this kid tonight. It would be best if I could get him to withdraw from the competition, otherwise all this Luo Tian Grand Ceremony would have been for nothing.
Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao naturally had no objection to Luke's suggestion. They were originally on the same side, and being able to join forces would be a huge advantage for them!
Zhang Chulan had even thought about things more deeply, such as whether he should secretly go to Luke's place tonight to recognize him as a father and ask him to go easy on him. After all, his biological father's behavior of leaving him in the orphanage was really inhumane. It wouldn't hurt to recognize a father during the road trip.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
"what?"
Feng Zhenghao had just returned to his room when he saw that his daughter had arrived with Luke.
He had just sat down when he heard Feng Shayan's story and was so shocked that he couldn't sit still. He spat out the water he had just drunk, soaking his clothes.
Just now, Feng Shayan told Feng Zhenghao some shocking news: Wang Ai, one of the Ten Elders, is dead, killed by Luke with a single slap.
Feng Shayan told Feng Zhenghao this news after asking Luke. The reason Luke didn't hide it from Feng Zhenghao was not only because Feng Zhenghao also wanted to get rid of Wang Ai, but also because he wanted Feng Zhenghao to handle the aftermath.
Luke originally didn't intend to kill Wang Ai, but the other party was courting death and actually delivered himself to his doorstep. It wouldn't be in Luke's nature not to kill him.
But Wang Ai was one of the Ten Elders after all, and his death would definitely cause a stir. If the investigation led to Luke, trouble would surely follow.
Luke was certainly not afraid of trouble. If anyone dared to cause trouble, he would simply follow the example of the old master from the Quanxing era and slap him across the face.
The problem is that Luke finds it troublesome; he's never wanted to deal with these trivial matters.
Feng Zhenghao is a perfect candidate. With his shrewdness and skill, Wang Ai's death will definitely give him a lot of room to maneuver. The Wang family will suffer a great loss of vitality, which is the least of his worries. If there are not a few pillars to support them, the entire Wang family may be swallowed up by Feng Zhenghao.
"No, I need to slow down first."
Feng Zhenghao raised his hand to stop Feng Shayan from continuing, and sat down to speak.
While it was said to be a slow process, it was actually a time to calm down and think about strategies.
I know my own daughter well; she wouldn't lie to me about something like this. This must be true, so I have a lot to do next.
Thinking about this, the unpleasant feeling that Luke had caused by spending the night at the hotel with his daughter last night vanished.
With a son-in-law like this, what more could a husband ask for!
Now Feng Zhenghao understands Luke's strength; in two words: awesome!!!
Wang Ai is dead; it seems I'll have to change my plans.
First, we need to divert Wang Ai's death to another place, without implicating ourselves. Quanxing is a good choice. Anyway, there are all kinds of people in it, so it's not hard to find a few scapegoats. But the one who can kill Wang Ai must be at least at the level of the Four Madmen. Others are not qualified!
Then he had to find a way to seize the Wang family's assets. The Wang family had given him a lot of trouble over the years, but that wasn't urgent. He had to wait for the Wang family to fall into internal strife first.
Unlike the newly emerging Feng family, the Wang family is a large and powerful clan with many branches. In the past, they were only suppressed by Wang Ai. With Wang Ai's death, it will not be long before internal strife breaks out. With interests at stake, internal strife is inevitable.
·· ·Requesting flowers··· ···
If there is internal strife, there must be no external threats, otherwise it is very likely that they will unite against a common enemy and waste this great opportunity.
So he needs to wait until the Wang family is in turmoil, until this turmoil weakens the Wang family, and then he can enjoy this dish that has been reserved for the Feng family's table since his grandfather's time.
Of course, Feng Zhenghao also knew that he wouldn't be the only one coveting this delicacy; the other members of the Ten Elders, and even the Na Du Tong Company, would get involved.
But it doesn't matter, I was the first one to arrive, so I'll get to enjoy the most delicious food.
The Longhu Mountain was exceptionally quiet at night. After merging with the worlds of One Piece and Naruto and greatly increasing his life cultivation, Luke suddenly saw a different kind of scenery.
..... 0 ...
Without a doubt, Longhu Mountain is a blessed land, even in the modern industrial world. Living here year-round is beneficial and harmless to those who cultivate themselves, and can be considered as adding a buff.
However, in this blessed land, Luke vaguely sensed that something was amiss.
Luke gazed into the distance, silently applying the Qi-observation technique he had once learned. He saw six wisps of black smoke faintly visible amidst the clear Qi drifting on the back of Longhu Mountain. They seemed to be under some kind of restriction. These six wisps of black smoke struggled fiercely, but could not break free from the restraints of the six wisps of black smoke.
"Heh, I knew you could see that too."
A gentle breeze blew by, and the old master appeared beside Luke, following Luke's gaze, and said with a smile.
Given Luke's current life and cultivation level, the arrival of the old master naturally could not be kept from him. He turned around and gave a slight bow.
"Old Master."
The old celestial master waved his hand and said, "Don't be so formal. Your cultivation is no less than this old man's. Why be so polite?"
Luke smiled slightly and said, "That's only natural. It has nothing to do with strength. If my old man knew that I was disrespectful to the Old Master, wouldn't he slap me across the face?"
The old celestial master chuckled strangely, "Heh heh, with your current cultivation level, I'm afraid Old Lu can't even draw your sword, let alone reach you, right?"
Chapter 91: One Person's Story: The Six Great Demon Kings
Luke said in a serious tone, "Look at what you're saying. If my old man wants to hit me, do you think I can dodge it? If I did, it wouldn't be my old man hitting me, it would be my dad."
The old Taoist master almost burst out laughing, and said with a smile, "Alright, kid, stop joking around. Tell this old Taoist what you just saw?"
Luke replied, "I saw six streams of black energy trying to break free from the back of Longhu Mountain, but they were bound by the pure energy. Young man, may I ask what those six streams of black energy are?"
Longhu Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain, a place of purity and spirituality, but those six streams of black energy were clearly not legitimate things, and should not be something that should exist in Taoism.
The old Celestial Master squinted and said, "Little Luke, you know about the Grand Celestial Master's exorcism of demons, right?"
Luke replied, "I know a little."
According to legend, Master Zu Tian, also known as "503," was the eighth-generation descendant of Zhang Liang, a meritorious official who helped establish the Western Han Dynasty. He was born on the fifteenth day of the first month of the tenth year of Jianwu (1568) during the reign of Emperor Guangwu of Han in Afang Village, Feng County.
Zhang Daoling's father was named Zhang Dashun, who was fond of the arts of immortals and called himself "Tongbai Zhenren". When his son was born, he named him "Ling", hoping that he could follow in the footsteps of his ancestors, leave the mortal world, and ascend to the mausoleum to become an immortal.
Zhang Daoling was exceptionally intelligent from a young age, mastering the Tao Te Ching by the age of seven. As a student at the Imperial Academy, he was well-versed in the Five Classics, as well as astronomy, geography, and apocryphal texts. He had over a thousand students.
However, he often lamented that the books he read could not solve the problem of life and death, so he abandoned Confucianism and turned to the study of the way to longevity.
Legend has it that one night during the reign of Emperor Shun of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Laozi descended upon Zhang Daoling's residence and bestowed upon him a pair of swords and many talismans, instructing him to slay the six great demon kings and eight great ghost generals who were rampaging through Sichuan.
Zhang Daoling spent a thousand days diligently practicing and mastered various demon-subduing spells.
Soon, eight demon generals, each leading hundreds of millions of demon soldiers, wreaked havoc on the human world, bringing various plagues and diseases and harming all living beings. Zhang Daoling set up a Taoist altar on Mount Qingcheng, ringing bells and chimes, summoning wind and rain, and commanding divine soldiers to fight against these evil demons.
He stood on a crystal throne, and any swords or arrows that approached him instantly transformed into lotus flowers. The demons then set fire to him, but Zhang Daoling pointed with his hand, and the flames burned back.
Enraged, the Ghost General summoned thousands of troops to surround him, but Zhang Daoling drew a line with his cinnabar brush, and all the ghost soldiers and the eight great ghost warriors kowtowed and begged for mercy.
However, they were outwardly convinced but inwardly dissatisfied. Upon returning, they summoned the Six Great Demon Kings, who led a million ghost soldiers to besiege Qingcheng Mountain. Zhang Daoling remained calm and unmoved. With a simple stroke of his cinnabar brush, all the ghosts perished, leaving only the Six Great Demon Kings lying on the ground, unable to rise, and forced to kowtow and beg for mercy.
With another stroke of his brush, Zhang Daoling split a mountain in two, trapping the six demon kings inside, unable to move. The demon kings had no choice but to promise never to harm the human world again.
Zhang Daoling was the first Celestial Master of the Celestial Masters School, and therefore he is revered as the Ancestral Celestial Master in Taoism.
The position of Celestial Master was inherited through a hereditary succession system. After the passing of the ancestral Celestial Master, his son Zhang Heng succeeded him, and he was known as the Successor Celestial Master.
After Zhang Heng passed away, his son Zhang Lu succeeded him, becoming the Celestial Master.
When it came to the fourth generation, Zhang Sheng, the family moved back to Longhu Mountain in Yingtan, Jiangxi Province. His descendants passed down the profession and were generally referred to as the nth generation Celestial Masters, collectively known as Zhang Celestial Masters.
