Bailongtan Visitor Information
Bailongtan (White Dragon Pool) is formed by the cascading waterfall of Bailong Lake. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and with a waterfall on one, the pool's depth is unfathomable. To ensure a better and safer experience of enjoying the waterfall, please observe the following:
1. In case of severe weather such as storms, heavy rain, or dense fog, it is forbidden to approach Bailongtan unless accompanied by景区 staff.
2. Your activity area is limited to the wooden viewing platform in front of Bailongtan and the stone path along the shore (see the signs on the map). Areas near the mountain are not within the safety zone of the scenic area and the soil is slippery. Climbing rocks or entering the dense forest behind the mountain is strictly prohibited.
Our staff will patrol the surrounding forest area outside the scenic area from time to time. If you see indistinct figures in the forest outside the riverside area, do not panic. Please make sure they are staff members.
When you spot staff members, never approach them or respond to their waving or calls!
Never go near them!!!
Immediately return to the observation deck and press the nearest red emergency button!
3. The water quality of Bailongtan is very good, but in principle, tourists are not allowed to drink it. If you accidentally drink the water, please report it to Bailongtan staff if you experience dizziness, abnormal fever, auditory hallucinations, or visual hallucinations:
If you drink the water from the pool without permission and then hear chanting sounds far from Jiding Temple, and there are no loudspeakers nearby, please call the front desk of Mushroom House immediately and wait for the mountain patrol and rescue team to arrive.
Do not move under these circumstances, even if you feel you can go to the Mushroom House on your own.
Do not leave the area with anyone other than the patrol and rescue team members.
4. Do not use your own containers to collect water from the pool out of curiosity. If you secretly collect water from the pool, please empty it clean at the designated recycling pool (there is a recycling pool in any restroom in the scenic area) before leaving the Fulong Mountain Scenic Area.
When the container starts to steam, do not consider any factors, immediately place the container where it is, and leave quickly.
Do not open any smoking water containers!!!
5. Boating is permitted at Bailongtan. If you wish to go boating, please go to the designated area, rent the necessary equipment, and abide by the relevant rules.
Do not wear personal protective gear when entering the Bailongtan waters.
6. Swimming in Bailongtan is prohibited without permission.
7. Fishing is prohibited in Bailongtan.
8. If you need to take the mountain cable car, please follow the signs to the mountain cable car station on the west side of Bailongtan. Please follow the signs and abide by the "Fulongshan Cable Car Riding Rules".
9. Whenever mist appears on the surface of the pool, please move away from Bailongtan immediately.
10. If you violate any of the above rules, please contact Bailongtan staff immediately and follow their instructions.
If you experience physical or mental discomfort despite following all the above rules, please immediately stop all your current activities, leave the Bailongtan area as soon as possible, and head to the Mushroom House.
