Chapter 761: Why Do This (7)
The man’s strength was immense, his grip on her wrist like an iron chain, tightly wrapped around, and no matter how she struggled, she couldn’t break free. She was forcibly dragged to the front of the plane.
The wind blew fiercely against her face, lifting her long hair, and Dong Xin Yan involuntarily squinted her eyes, feeling somewhat hopeless at heart.
Against two strong men like Zhang Wu and the other one, how could she escape?
What fate awaited her once she was taken onto the plane?
Gu Ningyi...where are you? Are you still mad at me? If she had known earlier that night might be their last meeting, she would never have argued with him, she would have told him she loved him, loved him very, very much!
The cabin door opened, and the man pushed her towards the inside of the plane. Even though she knew she couldn’t escape, Dong Xin Yan still refused to cooperate, stubbornly resisting until the very end.
The man seemed to lose patience, his gaze turning vicious, and without hesitation, he raised his hand, about to slap her.
Dong Xin Yan instinctively closed her eyes, shrinking her head back slightly.
However, the slap never came. Instead, she heard a muffled groan, and the force that had been restraining her suddenly loosened. The next moment, she was pulled into a warm and familiar embrace.
"Xinyan, I’m sorry, I’m late."
The man’s low, husky voice sounded in her ear, carrying a hint of urgency. His hot breath tickled her ear, but it felt as if it touched her heart.
It warmed her instantly.
He was here, her Gu Ningyi was here!
Dong Xin Yan didn’t open her eyes, just reached out and hugged Gu Ningyi tightly, holding onto him firmly, refusing to ever let go again.
After her nerves had been tense for so long, when Dong Xin Yan finally sat in the car, her body went limp, and she fell directly into a deep sleep.
Gu Ningyi held her, letting her lean against his chest, then took a blanket and draped it over her.
He turned his face slightly, his thin lips gently kissing her forehead, his voice soft and low, "Sleep."

"What, she was rescued? JACK and Lao Yu were also caught? Alright, I understand."
The housekeeper hung up the phone and hurriedly went upstairs, heading towards the master bedroom. He almost bumped into Lady Wei who was coming out of the bedroom.
Lady Wei frowned, "What’s so urgent?"
The butler couldn’t care about so much, anxiously speaking, "Madam, it’s not good, the operation over there failed, all our people were caught."
"What did you say?"
The housekeeper relayed everything he had just heard to Lady Wei, her expression turning colder and colder with each word.
"How could this happen? Didn’t Gu Ningyi have a fight with her? How did he find out Dong Xin Yan was missing so quickly and could rescue her in time?"
"Not sure, according to the news from over there, Gu Ningyi arrived at the very last moment, which means he didn’t know beforehand. Could it be that Dong Xin Yan notified Gu Ningyi during her kidnapping?" the housekeeper said.
After pausing, the housekeeper shook his head directly, "But that’s unlikely. When I called JACK, he said Dong Xin Yan had been unconscious, without awareness, and couldn’t possibly notify Gu Ningyi."
"Forget it, it’s not the time to pursue this issue now."
Lady Wei forced herself to calm down, taking a deep breath, "Deal with JACK and Lao Yu over there. Push the responsibility onto Madam Gu, and also, arrange for someone..."
Wei Xinruo, hidden behind the tall vase, listened to every word her mother said, her hands unconsciously clenching, and she shook her head involuntarily.
