Chapter 364: Michael’s Strength
Chapter 364: Michael’s Strength
Michael opened the door, and what appeared in front of him was completely different from the villa that he had just inspected not long ago.
This villa, it no longer had floors, instead, it was just one room. The entire place was lit by thin white lights running across the walls and ceiling. Smooth metal floors, shifting platforms, floating drones, and several training systems filled the room.
Looking at this transformation, it was very hard to believe that all of this had happened within just a minute.
The transformation included breaking down the walls within the villa, the furniture and other equipment within it as well.
From what he understood, Michael knew that the installation core used construction nano systems and programmable matter to break down the interior of the villa.
Possibly, billions of microscopic machines spread through the walls, floors, furniture, wiring, and objects inside, rapidly dismantling them into reusable raw material.
Of course, it was impossible to completely use everything that had been broken down within the villa. Some of them had been completely dismantled to the molecular level, making them seem like they vanished.
This nanotechnology, it seemed that he would have Adrian work on it. If Sky Technologies boasted this technology, its grip on the technology industry would rise to a completely different level.
As he shifted his thoughts from that, Michael completely stepped into the room. Since all the walls had been broken down, standing at the entrance, he could see everywhere within the room.
Michael had no any intention of training, as there would not be that much benefit for him at the moment. Or even if there would be some benefits, it would take time to accumulate.
He thought, it would not be too late for him to start training within this facility after he had obtained the rapid adaptation ability.
For now, he just wanted to test his physical limits after he had taken the evolution serum.
Back then, with the unarmed combat skills being pushed to the expert level, his physical attributes had also been improved by quite a huge margin.
Even though he was not your how strong he was back then, he was definitely stronger than ordinary humans. Maybe, there was a possibility that he could be compared to some of the strongest and fastest people in the world.
And after he took the evolution serum, he broke the genetic lock, moving beyond the human limits. Now, it was the time to test just how much he had improved.
The availability of different facilities within this training chamber would allow him to be able to test anything that he wanted. Therefore, he got to work.
He started with testing his strength. So, he directly walked towards the center of the room, where the magnetic strength platform was located.
The magnetic strength platform worked by creating controlled force fields instead of using physical weights.
Inside the floor and surrounding frame were magnetic emitters and field generators. When activated, they produced directional force that targeted the user’s body mass. This force pressed down, pulled, or resisted movement depending on the training mode.
The system could increase or decrease resistance in real time. At low levels, it only felt like added body weight. At higher levels, it could simulate thousands of tons of pressure by compressing force evenly across muscles, bones, and joints.
Because the force was distributed across the entire body, it trained full physical strength at once, including legs, core, back, and stabilizing muscles, while also forcing bones and tendons to adapt to extreme load without requiring physical weights.
As he stood on the platform, Michael gave a voice command, and immediately, above him, a floating screen appeared in front of him.
And in the next moment, he suddenly began feeling that his body was being exposed to some kind of pressure.
The pressure he experienced was like an invisible force pressing down on his entire body. It felt like gravity had increased, pulling him deeper into the ground as he stood in place.
At first, he felt like carrying a heavy backpack that covered his whole body. And as the force increased, he felt that the force was evenly spread, pushing his shoulders down, tightening the chest, and making every movement slow and heavy.
At first, he could endure this easily. But as time moved, within just a few seconds, he began feeling the strain. This kind of sensation, it had been quite a long time since he ever experienced it.
Ever since he acquired the system, and acquired the unarmed combat skills, he had never experienced I said you should like this.
With the pressure continuously increasing, Michael’s breathing also became harder, as if the air itself had weight. His legs felt locked in place, and even standing still required effort, as though his body was resisting being flattened by an unseen weight from above.
Beep!
Just as he felt that his body was about to give in, there was a sudden beep, before all the pressure receded like a tide. It almost felt like all that he had been enduring was just an illusion.
But of course, the fact that he was currently soaked in sweat, his breathing uneven, feeling his legs shaking slightly, and his muscles kind of sore, he might have also thought so.
After taking a few deep breaths, Michael looked above him, and the projected screen showed data, showing his strength level, resistance load.
According to his understanding, during the time that the body was being exposed to the pressure, it would be continuously monitored by the AI that was in charge of this training chamber.
That way, the body would be exposed to the maximum limit of what it can deal with, without breaking it. In such a way, it would be capable of fully testing the strength that a person had, together with their endurance.
The monitoring was done through a magnetic scan field passed through his body, reading muscle tension, bone stress, heartbeat, and nerve activity in real time. Thin sensors in the floor added extra detail from his movements.
It was because of this that the moment that he nearly felt his body collapse, there was a beep sound that rang in the air, before everything returned to normal.
As he looked at the screen, he realized that his lifting strength had reached a little over 8 tons in a controlled lift. Such strength could allow him to lift small armored vehicles, tear apart reinforced machines, or throw heavy structural debris.
In short bursts with perfect leverage, he believed he could briefly exceed this level, but only for a very short time before muscle strain built up.
His endurance time at near-maximum load was 2 minutes 37 seconds before muscle fatigue began to reduce stability.
Full control was maintained for 1 minute 58 seconds, with the final 39 seconds showing gradual loss of balance under sustained pressure.
Recovery time was recorded at 3 minutes 12 seconds for heart rate and muscle tension to return close to baseline after the load was removed.
Neural stability remained above 85% control efficiency during peak pressure, dropping only near the final phase of fatigue.
After this, Michael went on to test the other physical attributes. And as he tried out the other functions available within the chamber, even though he was the one who had customized it, he was left amazed.
The efficiency of the training chamber was beyond what other equipment found in high-end gyms could match. That was especially with his physical attributes already being beyond what was considered human limits.
After a few minutes, he finally got the results, gaining a deeper understanding of how strong he really was. And, it real6waas mind boggling.
His sprint speed had reached around almost 120 km/h over short bursts, especially in straight-line movement. When in action, it looked like explosive ground acceleration that lasted only a few seconds before recovery was needed.
For sustained movement, he could maintain 50 to 60 km/h across urban terrain for a few minutes. His body adapted stride, impact, and balance in real time to prevent joint damage while maintaining speed.
His reaction speed had ranged around 0.05 to 0.08 seconds, allowing him to respond before most human actions fully formed. To normal observers, it would have looked like he moved before intent became visible.
His endurance could sustain 1 to 2 hours of high-output activity, depending on damage and stress. His body managed oxygen use, heat, and micro-tears aggressively, but prolonged peak use still caused breakdown over time. At moderate levels, he could operate for much longer with short recovery breaks.
Of course, Michael did not have to test his endurance for over an hour. It was just that he was exposed to different pressure levels and other factors, before an estimation was made.
His jumping ability, allowed vertical leaps of 6 to 10 meters and horizontal bursts of over 20 meters, especially when using momentum and terrain.
With the final results, Michael could finally understand himself. With this, he could finally perfectly control his strength.
While he could do so previously, which was due to his expert level unarmed combat skills and the other expert level skills that influenced his physicality, he had gained good control over his body.
But, with him finally knowing the true extent of his strength, it made some things easier.
Michael was satisfied with the chamber. Now, all that was left was to wait for Kate to come the following day and let her know about this.
As he left the room, he had no idea that, on this day, a storm had suddenly erupted in the capital, related to him.
