Damon is now resorting to any means to achieve his goal, which is simple: to break the seal on the tomb and rescue Catherine.
Damon even promised them that if they helped him rescue Catherine, he would help Kakuzu and the town get rid of the other vampires in the tomb, and then take Catherine away from the town and fly away, promising never to come back!
Anyway, with all sorts of methods employed, the latest development before Kakuzu's shadow clones disbanded is that Bonnie and Bonnie's grandmother Sheila agreed to help Damon break the seal on the tomb. However, Damon must keep his promise and leave Mystic Falls with Catherine, never to return.
Moreover, in her current state, Sheila is simply not capable of performing this magic by herself; she needs time to teach Bonnie how to use magic and control witchcraft.
In short, Damon has successfully achieved his goal after all this trouble, and now a period of peace has begun. All that's left is to wait for Bonnie to learn magic.
Although Sue had never dealt with Bonnie's grandmother Sheila, he knew Bonnie's personality. Combined with the plot of the TV series, it was obvious that this was a trap!
The hole that buried Damon!
In the TV series, after the seal on the tomb was broken, Damon and Stefan entered the tomb. However, Bonnie and Sheila sabotaged the process, making it so that the vampires could only enter but not leave, in an attempt to seal Damon and Stefan inside the tomb.
Although it didn't work out in the end, that was due to a variety of reasons.
Now, it's hard to say how things will turn out.
Sue didn't intend to remind Damon. Firstly, she had no obligation to do so, and secondly, no matter how things ultimately turned out, he wouldn't suffer any losses and would always benefit!
After digesting the memories, Su summoned Kakuzu's shadow clone again. On one hand, he continued to keep an eye on Damon's progress, and on the other hand, he had to deal with Catherine's completion of the assessment and her formal becoming a member of Akatsuki.
In retrospect, War Knights did a pretty good job with this incident. Not only did it give Catherine a reason to officially join the Akatsuki, but it also showcased the Akatsuki's strength to the Wen brothers and Rufus in a high-profile manner.
Although the Wen brothers rushed over to help but only ended up with nothing, it wasn't all for nothing; at least they learned about the War Knights and the Akatsuki organization.
After the War Knight appears, the other knights will appear one after another. Su felt it was necessary to have someone keep an eye on the Wen brothers and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in the near future. Although collecting the Death Knight might be a bit difficult at the moment, the other knights were no problem at all.
Su informed the ninjas in various locations, the Witcher Bar, and Miss Demon Mag, and then prepared to go to the church cemetery.
Just as I was about to leave, my phone rang.
Lids attacked!
With the release of the Flying Thunder God Technique, Su instantly appeared in the morgue of a hospital.
The morgue was cold and eerily quiet. Liz and Carol Lockwood stared at a corpse with grim expressions.
"Huh? It's him?" Su looked at the stiff, lime-like corpse and was slightly surprised!
It was Loganfeld!
This guy became an intern in Akatsuki along with Damon, but he couldn't go out freely without the Sun Ring. In addition, the Su family didn't take him seriously, so they didn't pay much attention to him afterward. They never expected that this guy would die!
This guy is a vampire after all; it's not easy for an ordinary person to kill him.
Su pulled out the wooden stake that was stuck in Loganfeld's heart and examined it for a few moments. It was clear that the stake was specially made and not made from local materials.
Therefore, the person who killed Loganfell was not someone who stumbled upon him by chance, but rather someone who premeditatedly and deliberately hunted him down, or perhaps someone who hunted vampires!
"Do you have any ideas?" Liz asked Sue.
Although Loganfell's transformation into a vampire and his death saddened Liz and Carol Lockwood, the town was already in enough chaos, and now that someone was deliberately hunting vampires again, they had to take it seriously.
Su nodded: "I think I know who it is."
"who is it?"
"I'll handle this."
Although they were eager to know who it was, they had no choice but to deal with Loganfeld's body since Sue had said so.
After leaving the hospital morgue, Su immediately sensed Elena's location and teleported there. The next moment, he was already in Elena's house.
Elena was changing her clothes, seemingly preparing to go out, when Su's sudden appearance startled her. She then turned around coquettishly and hugged Su: "Why did you suddenly come over? Is there something you need me for?"
Su chuckled, pulled her close, and kissed her gently. After a while, she smiled and said, "There's something very important to you, and I've been hesitant to tell you about it."
"You and Caroline did 'that'? That's impossible. If you two had done 'that,' Caroline would have already bragged about it," Elena said instinctively.
Su was speechless: "So you think the most important thing to you is that I'm with Caroline?"
Elena said shyly, "Of course not, it's just that you are the most important thing to me."
"Although I am glad that you said that, what I am about to say has nothing to do with me. It is indeed your business, or rather, your family's business."
"Elena, Grayson Gilbert and Miranda Gilbert may not be your biological parents!"

Chapter 443 Background and First Meeting with Alaric Salzmann
"Elena, Grayson Gilbert and Miranda Gilbert may not be your biological parents!"
Elena froze, her expression stiffening, and she said with a pleading look in her eyes, "You...you're joking, this joke isn't funny at all."
Su took Elena's hands and sat down by the bed. Her expression was slightly serious but not stern as she said, "I've known about this for a long time, but I just haven't found the right opportunity to say it. They should have died when you drove into the river. Then, by chance, you learned about your own background. But meeting me changed your fate and theirs."
If Elena hadn't met the Su clan, she wouldn't have become a ninja and wouldn't have possessed chakra. So, when the car crashed and fell into the river, she naturally wouldn't have been able to easily break the window to save herself.
Elena knew this, but she couldn't accept that her parents, whom she had raised since childhood, were not her biological parents.
"Why...why are you telling me this all of a sudden?" Elena took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down.
Su explained, “I never intended to hide it from you, I just hadn’t found the right opportunity. After all, no one doesn’t want to know who their biological parents are. Of course, what they do after finding out varies from person to person. The reason I’m telling you now is because something involves your biological mother’s husband, and I think this is the right opportunity.”
“My biological mother’s husband, isn’t that…” Elena was interrupted by Su Shi’s light chuckle and shake of her head.
He is your biological mother's husband, but not your father.
"Oh."
Elena's feelings were complicated, or rather, she was a little confused. "I... I need to calm down and think things through by myself."
“Of course.” Mrs. Su nodded.
"Later... I might talk to them later."
"it is good."
Now that she knew about her origins, Elena couldn't help but ask her parents, or rather her adoptive parents, for confirmation and to inquire about the details of what happened back then.
Su teleported away and arrived at the town's high school.
Whether as a wealthy man, a local celebrity, or a school board member, Mr. Su is undoubtedly a celebrity in the school.
Especially during the car wash festival, the Su family generously paid for the event, making them stand out among the students.
Therefore, whenever Su appeared on campus, he would greet everyone he saw, whether male or female. Some bold girls who thought they were good-looking would even take the initiative to strike up a conversation and give him their phone numbers, hoping to catch Su's attention.
There was nothing they could do. They all knew that Su usually only played with Elena and Caroline. Whether it was out of genuine admiration or vanity, they all wanted to play with Su.
Unfortunately, the Su family refused them all.
To put it bluntly, Su Shi was not lacking in women, nor was he the kind of person who was obsessed with women, indiscriminate in his pursuit of them, or would accept anyone who came his way.
If he encounters some beautiful characters in the story, he might want to get to know them and take care of them, keeping them in his fishpond. But how many of them would he actually catch and eat?
Putting everything else aside, Elena and Caroline were like meat on a chopping board; he could have easily taken advantage of them if he had even the slightest interest. But did he actually do it?
This alone is enough to prove that Su is not the kind of person who only cares about outward appearances, or to put it bluntly, he is affectionate in his interactions with others!
For most people, he actually prefers to let things take their natural course when emotions run deep.
In an office in the teaching building, Su met Alaric Salzman, who was ostensibly a newly appointed history teacher but secretly a witcher, or rather, a vampire hunter.
Alaric Salzman was stunned when he saw Su Shi. His eyes flickered slightly, and he seemed a little guilty and wary, but he quickly concealed it and asked in feigned confusion, "You are Su Shi, right? You... are you looking for me?"
Su nodded.
"What do you need me for?" Seeing that Su didn't explain his purpose, Alaric Salzman had no choice but to speak first.
"You killed Loganfeld!"
It's an affirmative sentence, not an interrogative sentence.
Alaric Salzman looked at Su Shi, silently shifting slightly, seemingly considering how to begin. Step by step, he cautiously followed, then suddenly reached into his bag under the lectern and grabbed a homemade crossbow, aiming it directly at Su Shi.
"call out--"
A specially made syringe was shot at Su.
Su chuckled and shook his head, then reached out and precisely grabbed the syringe, which seemed incredibly slow to him: "It's filled with verbena? I didn't check his body for verbena. You used this to ambush Ross first, and then killed him with the stake?"
"Too bad I'm not a vampire. Not only can you, this piece of junk, not hit me, but even if you did, it wouldn't have any effect."
“I killed vampires!” Alaric Salzman said through gritted teeth. “I know you have vampires around you, but this guy isn’t one of yours!”
"You hate vampires?"
Su asked casually, and before he could answer, she continued, "Yes, you hate vampires because they ruined your family and made you lose your wife."
"Izebel, right?"
“You…how did you know?” Alaric Salzman was stunned. “You investigated me? No, that’s not right, you know Izebel, do you know something? Tell me! Tell me!”
Alaric Salzman threw down the crossbow and rushed excitedly to Sue's side.
He is very excited!
He was so excited that he threw his weapon away, even though it wouldn't have been of any use anyway, but he had just made a move. However, upon hearing news about his wife, he didn't care about any of that anymore.
That's true, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to come to Mystic Falls, let alone painstakingly prepare equipment to kill the vampire.
In some ways, Alaric Salzman is actually the same kind of person as Damon. They are both troubled and hurt by love, and they are willing to give everything for it.
No wonder Damon made Izabel a vampire and even had sex with him, and then Alaric Salzman was able to get along with him in the end, and even become his comrade-in-arms.
After all, their experiences and encounters are too similar.
Damon was deeply in love with Catherine, but then he was betrayed by her.
Alaric Salzman deeply loved Izebel, and was ultimately betrayed by her.
However, what Alaric Salzman doesn't know yet is that Izebel's backer is not Damon, but Catherine.
It has to be said that Catherine is indeed a master of stirring up trouble.
