Chapter 147 Harry's Connection to Voldemort
Chapter 147 Harry's Connection to Voldemort
Hermione rushed back to the library; if Draco hadn't softened his stance, the three of them should still be studying. Reaching the door, she slowed her pace and quietly went inside, lest Mrs. Pince kick her out for disturbing the others.
"Harry, come with me. Or rather, all three of you come with me." Hermione had originally intended to take one person with her, but she figured Harry wasn't there, and Draco probably couldn't control Ron by himself, so she decided to take them all with her.
After leaving the library, Ron seemed to come alive, chattering incessantly, while the other three skillfully ignored him. Draco and Harry walked hand-in-hand beside Hermione, trying to use her to shut up some of Ron's nonsense.
Before Hermione could lose her temper, the four of them finally arrived at the place where Helena usually stayed.
"Hey, you three, can you please talk to me? I'm going to get angry if you keep this up." Ron stood with his hands on his hips, unwilling to leave, looking at Hermione with a wronged expression.
"I'm sorry, we really have an emergency today."
Hermione reached out and hugged Ron around the waist. She was very glad that there were no professors around, otherwise Gryffindor would definitely lose points today. But this was the quickest way to appease Ron; a hug would make him calm down quickly.
"Okay, then I forgive you."
After reassuring Ron, Hermione pulled Harry's arm and walked over to Helena. "This is my friend. Do you believe us now?"
Harry looked confused, but still stood obediently between the three ladies, his eyes pleading for Draco's help. Unfortunately, Draco shrugged, indicating no; Harry wouldn't get hurt anyway, he'd just stand by and watch, just like when he was a child.
"You lied to me. He has Tom Riddle's scent on him. I don't care how you got in, but you'll never be here again." Helena's greatest hatred now is Voldemort; he defiled Ravenclaw's crown, to the point that she hates even the slightest hint of his presence. (Original setting)
"I have Tom's scent on me? That's impossible." Harry muttered to himself. It had been several months since he last saw Voldemort, so it was impossible for the scent to still be there.
"Ha, this aura emanates from your very soul, how is that impossible? Get out of Hogwarts!" Helena glared at everyone before her, slowly raising her right hand and manipulating the castle walls to crush them.
"Wait, that's impossible! Listen to us!"
"Stop talking and run! Let's find Headmaster Dumbledore first. There's no point in saying anything now." Ron grabbed Hermione's hand and ran forward.
The walls around them were getting closer and closer, and the five of them ran forward as fast as they could. But because Helena was always behind them, the walls would keep moving even when they reached the next floor.
"That won't do! We'll be exhausted before we even get outside the castle!" Hermione gasped. "Let's run to the Headmaster's office and get Dumbledore to explain!"
She quickly pulled Ron back; he almost slipped and fell. This was no joke; falling in this situation would really kill him.
"Now we can only pray that Dumbledore is at the school," Lyra said, panting as she ran. "Draco, come back! Don't go that way, it's all walls there, it'll be easier to get caught there!!!"
The five of them ran frantically toward the principal's office as if they were fleeing a disaster. The young wizards they encountered along the way thought they had done something wrong and were being chased by ghosts, so they quickly hid away for fear of getting involved.
"We're at the stairwell! We're almost there!!!" Harry felt a flash of light before his eyes; he was about to see the light of victory. The five of them scrambled to the door and banged on it frantically. Without a password, they could only use the simplest method.
Before they could despair, Dumbledore opened the door.
"Children, what are you doing? Why are the school walls moving?!" Dumbledore was furious.
"Headmaster, please explain to this lady that we are not bad people, and Harry is not Voldemort's man!!!" Hermione said, tugging at Dumbledore.
"Wait, Helena, don't get agitated. Is there some misunderstanding? Harry would never associate with Voldemort." Dumbledore blocked the wall that Helena was controlling; his headmaster's office was almost demolished.
"Impossible. He has the aura of Tom Riddle's soul in his soul. There's definitely something wrong with him." Helena stared coldly at Harry; her perception of the aura was never wrong.
"How is this possible? In this world, nothing other than a Horcrux can be tainted by a soul." Dumbledore asked doubtfully, but the next second his pupils contracted, and he looked at Harry's head in shock. "Harry, you are a living Horcrux!"
"Merlin, inanimate objects can be destroyed, but people cannot. Voldemort really played a brilliant move," Dumbledore exclaimed with a sigh.
"A living... Horcrux?" Harry felt dizzy, his head almost exploding from the shock of the information. He grabbed Draco's hand to steady himself.
"No wonder... I'm sorry, I misunderstood you..." Helena regained her senses, she untied the walls around her, and bowed her head to apologize to them.
"What should we do? We can't just let Harry die, can we?" Ron asked, unable to think of any other way to solve the problem.
"There's always a way. Now, Ms. Helena, can you tell us where the crown is? We need to destroy one first." Lyra interrupted Ron, not wanting to hear any more of this heart-stopping talk.
"I put it in the Room of Requirement, a room where things are hidden, but I don't know exactly where in the room it is. After so many years, it's probably changed a lot."
"Thank you very much, we will find it as soon as possible."
"I'll be going now. If you destroy it, please let me know. I'll still be in that place." With that, Helena passed through the wall and disappeared.
"Harry, don't leave the school for now. I'll ask our old friends if anyone knows how to solve this. Thanks for the information. I'll send someone to deal with the diadem as soon as possible," Dumbledore instructed the children. He needed someone to stay with Harry in case Voldemort suddenly found out Harry was a Horcrux and kidnapped him.
"Let's go find the young master." Seeing them standing there in a daze, Leila offered an option, "Eri might have a way; he also has some knowledge of souls."
Harry and Draco understood her implication, and Harry said, "Let's go find Ellie. We can get a free meal if we go now, and we can't let ourselves go hungry."
Hermione rolled her eyes. The serious atmosphere was completely ruined by that. It was indeed time to eat, and Lyra was right. What if Emerick had a solution?
