Chapter 94 Turning Point in Fate (Part 2)
Watching the Riddles leave, I breathed a sigh of relief; it was finally drizzling outside.
A dark figure rushed in, saw Lily Potter lying on the ground, and pointed his wand at me.
"Did you do it?" Severus was no longer calm; seeing me standing there, he assumed it was me.
"Severus, calm down. Lily Potter can still be saved." Severus arrived just as Riddle left.
"It's you, Ayers. You said Lily could be saved?" Severus recognized me when he heard my voice.
"I can save her, but I need to take her away from here." According to the plot, Lily Potter is already dead. I can save her, but I can't appear in public anymore.
“Okay, I agree, as long as Lily can be saved.” James Potter, who had fainted on the first floor, woke up and happened to come up to the second floor and overheard my conversation with Severus.
"You trust me that much?" I was very curious. James Potter shouldn't recognize me in my current state, so why is he so confident that I'm taking Lily away?
“I believe in Severus; he wouldn’t want Lily to die like this.” James Potter believed in Severus regarding Lily’s situation.
"Alright, I'll take Lily Potter with me then." I enveloped Lily's body in flames and flew away.
After I left, Severus punched James Potter directly, and James Potter didn't dodge, taking the punch head-on.
“Since you can’t protect her, you should hide in a safe place. If anything happens to her, don’t even think about seeing her again.” Severus and I are now lovers, and he still cares about Lily, but it’s a familial relationship. He still treats Lily like a sister. But look what happened to that damn James Potter.
"I'm sorry, Severus, I didn't protect her well, but Lily is still Harry's mother. I believe you won't let Harry lose his mother, will you?" James Potter was so badly beaten by Severus that he fell in front of Harry's crib, which shows how hard Severus hit him.
“Since he said he could, he definitely can bring her back. You should hurry up and settle Harry down.” Severus didn’t want to say anything more to James Potter. He had been gone for a long time, and he didn’t know how he would explain it if Riddle couldn’t find him.
"Well, I'll leave with Harry first." James Potter, his face red and swollen, picked up Harry Potter from the crib, grabbed his wand, and left the house.
Finally, Severus also left, and only after they had all left did the dark night begin to rain heavily.
After I left, they went to a nearby hilltop and took out a coffin. This coffin was not carved from wood, but from ice crystals.
"I'm sorry, Lily, now is not the time for you to appear. I will seal you away for now, and I will awaken you when the time is right."
I cut a gash on my finger, dripped a drop of blood into Lily's mouth, then covered it with the ice crystal coffin and buried it in the ground.
I specifically chose this burial site to nurture his body; it should be able to be opened and awakened when Harry grows up.
I marked the spot and then left.
When I found Sirius Black again, I saw an angry James Potter beating him up.
I stared at them, completely bewildered. James Potter, exhausted from his fight, finally noticed me watching them from a distance.
"How is Lily? Can she come back to life?" James Potter, anxious, stopped fighting Sirius Black and rushed to me to ask.
The other members of the Order of the Phoenix who heard what had happened also looked in my direction, especially Dumbledore, who squinted at me.
"I can come back to life, but I can't show myself right now. I need to rest and recover. Lily is currently in a coma and won't wake up." I'm not afraid of them staring at me in my current state; no one in the Fire Phoenix clan has ever seen what I look like.
"Is that so?" James Potter could accept it; as long as he wasn't dead, being unconscious was better than being dead.
"James, can you introduce us?" Just then, Dumbledore, who was standing to the side, interrupted and asked James Potter, "Who am I?"
“Right, right, I forgot to ask who this gentleman is? Can he tell us?” James Porter then realized that he didn’t know my name at all.
"I'm sorry, I can't tell you my name right now. Just trust me." I really can't tell you my name; if I did, Dumbledore would definitely press me for more information.
"Jaime, how could you trust someone to entrust Lily to him? You couldn't even tell us her name." Sirius Black, who had been lying on the ground, finally recovered and stood beside James, clutching his stomach which had been hurt by James's beating, and asked.
“Because Severus believes him, what other choice do we have but to believe him now?” Who else can James Potter trust? This time, he trusted Sirius Black too much, and Riddle and his men found their home address.
"Besides trusting me, do you have any other options?" I've already lectured Sirius Black, but he's still the same person. He still doesn't realize the seriousness of this mistake.
“Sir, we don’t know you at all. It’s not a good idea to suddenly hand Lily over to you.” Professor McGonagall was also worried. It was only because James Potter was carefree and didn’t think there was anything wrong with handing Lily, a woman, over to me, a man.
"Then I'll give Lily back to you. How will you compensate me for my loss?" I looked at the group of people in front of me with a calm expression.
"Could you tell me how you resurrected Lily?" Dumbledore asked again, hitting the nail on the head.
"The blood of the Fire Phoenix Clan." It's not that it can't be said; the blood of the Fire Phoenix Clan can revive people or creatures that have just died, but only if the Fire Phoenix Clan volunteers to save them. Otherwise, even if there is blood, it may not be able to revive the person.
"Hiss!" When I mentioned how I saved Lily, they all shut up when they heard it was the blood of the Fire Phoenix. They really couldn't compensate me for that, and hearing about the method put their minds at ease.
They already believe I can save Lily. Phoenix blood is extremely rare, and it must be donated voluntarily—it's practically nonexistent. The fact that I can produce such a thing proves that I have the ability to revive Lily.
"Thank you so much, really." James Potter was already in tears. He had really suffered a lot today. He hadn't protected his wife well and almost lost her completely.
"You should thank Severus. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't want to deal with this." Seriously, if it weren't for Riddle causing this mess, I wouldn't want to clean up this mess either.
“Okay, I’ll go talk to him about it later.” James Potter wiped his face abruptly, determined to thank Severus Snape next time.
"If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now. Lily Potter will come back if necessary; we don't even know when she'll wake up." I waved to them and left.
I need to go to Riddle's place to comfort him.
