Chapter 165 Spending Time Alone with Cedric
Chapter 165 Spending Time Alone with Cedric
I strolled along leisurely. It seemed I'd been at the school hospital quite late; I guess I wouldn't have dinner by now.
"Ayers, are you tired?" I ran into Cedric just as I was about to walk to the kitchen.
Cedric seemed to sense my exhaustion. He came to me and hugged me, as if he had been waiting for me to arrive.
"I've made some food here, it's for you." Cedric handed me a food box, which was still warm to the touch.
"Thank you, Cedric." My heart felt warm; Cedric really is a little sun, so comforting.
"Ayers, hurry up and eat, you must be hungry." Cedric pulled me into the kitchen, opened the food container, and handed me a spoon.
"Okay." I picked up my spoon and started eating. Cedric, as expected of someone from the Badger House, cooked pretty good food.
"Ayers~ were you really sad about your pet before?" Cedric asked curiously as he watched me eat.
"Pfft~ Why are you suddenly asking this?" She was still eating and almost spat it out.
"It's just a feeling, I didn't sense you were particularly sad." I felt like Cedric could sense my emotional changes.
He seemed to sense the previous conflict with Severus, and now he seems to sense my acting as well.
“For some reason, I can’t tell you the real story, but I can admit that I wasn’t particularly sad at the time.” I took the handkerchief Cedric handed me and wiped my mouth.
“It’s okay, I’m not one to pry. If you want to tell me, I’ll listen; if you don’t want to, that’s fine too.” Cedric was indeed curious about why I did that, but he wouldn’t force me to tell him.
“I’m done eating, Ced. Why don’t you go to the Gryffindor common room and celebrate with the twins?” I put down my handkerchief and pushed the empty lunchbox forward.
“I’ve already been there, they had a great time, but I was a little worried about you, so I’m waiting for you here in the kitchen. I knew you’d come here looking for something to eat.” Cedric was really thoughtful.
“Cedric, I’ve wanted to ask you this for a long time. Do you know something? Or do you sense something?” I felt that Cedric knew about my relationships with several of my targets.
“Yes, I know.” Cedric smiled and took my hand. There were no house fairies in the kitchen now, just the two of us.
"Why?" I gently stroked his face, knowing he understood what I meant.
“Because my heart has been firmly captured by you.” Cedric wrapped his hands around my hands that were resting on his face.
"Sed." Suddenly, I felt like I was a terrible person. It seemed like I couldn't give any of my romantic partners my one and only love.
“Ayers, don’t look at me like that. We can all feel your love for you, and we can all accept each other’s love for you. Don’t try to get rid of any of us,” Cedric said earnestly. He could see what I was thinking, but he didn’t want to hear me say anything hurtful.
"You guys are really stupid, each one of you is adorably stupid." So what if I'm a jerk? It's a miracle that someone loves me, even though I don't know if it's partly because of my sugar daddy.
“I only like you because it’s you.” Cedric had me straddle his lap, and we looked at each other face to face.
"Ayers, may I kiss you?" Cedric was definitely the one who respected me the most.
“Of course.” I lifted his chin, wrapped my arms around Cedric’s neck, and our lips touched lightly.
At that moment, time seemed to stand still, and the whole world seemed to consist only of the two of us.
Cedric's lips were warm and soft, with a faint vanilla and creamy scent. Cedric must have just eaten a vanilla cream cake; it was so sweet.
His tongue gently pried open my lips and intertwined with mine.
I could feel his breathing become rapid, and his heartbeat quicken.
Our kisses grew more intense, and his hands began to roam over my back, caressing my skin through my magic robe. I could feel his body pressing closer and closer to mine, and his body growing hotter and hotter.
I gently pushed him away and looked into his eyes.
His eyes were filled with love, which I couldn't resist.
I kissed his lips again, this time more intense and deeper.
Our bodies were pressed tightly together, as if we were about to become one.
Cedric kept his emotions in check, and he kept the other targets of his affections from getting close to me.
Now it's different. At this moment, I belong to him alone. His eyes no longer hold a gentle tenderness, but possessiveness.
It's true that the gentler a person is, the better they are at pretending. Cedric is practically a wolf in sheep's clothing now, passionately kissing me.
"Not pretending anymore?" Actually, I can sometimes sense Cedric's depth. Although he's always smiling, I can tell he's not simple.
Cedric wasn't chosen by the Goblet of Fire in his past life solely because of his gentleness; he also possessed strength. How could he have been chosen by the Goblet of Fire without strength?
“I’ve never been pretending in front of you, have I?” Cedric said with a smile, leaning against my shoulder.
"Mmm~ You've always been the one who loves me deeply, Ced." I smiled and put my arm around his neck.
“That’s right, you’ll always be my Ayers.” Cedric hugged me tenderly, inhaling the scent of blue roses emanating from me.
"Let's go, it's getting late, we need to go back to the dorm." I kissed Cedric's lips again.
“Okay.” Cedric helped me stand up by supporting my waist, and then returned to his normal appearance, walking out of the kitchen with me.
“Cedric, your Hufflepuff lounge is way too close to the kitchen. Do you ever sneak a bite here?” I asked Cedric curiously.
“I only come to the kitchen when I miss mealtimes because I’m studying; otherwise, I eat with you in the hall or auditorium.” It’s perfectly normal for Cedric to miss mealtimes to finish reading a book.
So, top students didn't know everything from the start; they accumulated their knowledge little by little.
"It seems like you've only missed eating with us once or twice, so I won't blame you. But you have to promise me you'll eat on time," I said with a smile, holding his wrist.
“Okay, I’ll do whatever you say,” Cedric said, smiling at me.
“Very good, you should all listen to me,” I said with a smile.
Finally, we went back to our respective college lounges.
