Chapter 149 Romantic Moments with Severus and Days of Tutoring Harry
Chapter 149 Romantic Moments with Severus and Days of Tutoring Harry
In the end, nothing happened between us; Severus simply stayed in my room for the night.
The next morning, I woke up first, washed up and changed my clothes, and then carefully left to go to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
When Severus woke up and came downstairs, he saw that the dining table was full of a sumptuous breakfast.
"Come and have breakfast. After breakfast, you can go and refine the medicine. Do you need me to assist you today?" I asked Siever while eating a sandwich.
“I don’t think so, I can manage on my own.” Severus said while eating breakfast and drinking coffee.
He discovered that the coffee he was drinking was no longer completely bitter; it had a hint of sweetness.
"Okay, you can tell me if you need me." I put the last bite of the sandwich in my mouth and picked up the milk next to me to drink.
"Hmm." Severus ate slowly and deliberately. When he finished eating and was about to clean up and wash the food,
"Go ahead, I can clean up. You go ahead and do your work." I took the plate from his hand, stacked it on top of my own plate, and took them to the kitchen to wash.
Severus paused for a few seconds looking at me before turning and leaving for his potions room.
After washing the dishes, I took out the books my older brother had given me and sat on the sofa in the living room to read. Time passed by like that.
Around noon, I put down my book and went to the kitchen to cook. It was just the two of us eating, so I made a simple egg noodle soup. I gave one bowl to Severus and watched him take it into the potions room before I sat down at the table to eat.
After finishing my meal, I went to the entrance of the potion room to retrieve my empty bowl, washed it along with my own, and then took the book I hadn't finished reading back to my room.
I take a nap at noon and then read in my room. When night is about to fall, I go downstairs to make dinner.
Severus always emerged from the potions room precisely on time, just as I finished making dinner.
"Go wash your hands and eat." I was cooking without even looking up when I finished and took the food out of the restaurant.
“I’ve already served the rice.” Severus placed two bowls of white rice in front of the seat.
"We can't stay up all night. After we finish eating, let's rest for a bit and then go back to our rooms to wash up and go to sleep," I said to Siever as we cleaned up the dishes after we finished eating.
"Okay, I'll listen to you." Severus enjoyed my advice and listened to whatever I said.
"I've changed the air freshener in your room to blue rose, and the shampoo too," I said suddenly as Severus walked upstairs.
This made Severus walk much faster.
Hearing Severus's movements behind me, I couldn't suppress the smile on my face.
This is how we spend half of our holiday – it's a lifestyle we've developed.
"Severus, I might be staying with my brother for a while starting tomorrow," she told him while serving him food.
"Okay, be careful." Severus thought it was fine; they could meet at Hogwarts after the holidays.
"I got a refrigerator in the kitchen, and it's full of steamed buns and dumplings that I prepared for you. You can heat them up and eat them whenever you want." I borrowed a refrigerator from my sugar daddy and put it in the kitchen.
The excuse was to be nice to the target, and it actually worked! This refrigerator is unbelievably big and keeps food fresh perfectly. It's definitely a top-notch product from the system.
"When are you leaving?" I feel like Severus has been feeding me a little more lately, making me a bit rounder.
"I'll probably leave after breakfast tomorrow." After finishing my meal, I'll sit down and rest for a bit.
"I'll do the dishes today." Severus isn't very busy today, so he can relax a bit.
"Severus, wash some fruit and have some." I wasn't planning to go to bed too early tonight, so I just took a book and sat on the sofa in the living room to read.
"Here you go." Severus, the straight man, didn't even wash the other fruits, just gave me an apple.
"Severus, I'm curious, what were you thinking, only washing apples for me to eat?" I took the apple he handed me and looked at him curiously.
"This is easy to wash." Very good, that's a very Severus-esque reason.
"Want some?" It's fine, everything Severus washed is delicious.
Severus simply lowered his head and took a bite out of the apple I was holding.
Just as he was about to look up, I grabbed his collar, pulled his head down, and kissed him.
The apple juice is so sweet. Severus, who was bent over and couldn't stand steadily because I pulled him, put his hands on the sofa for support.
I looked at Severus's dark eyes with a smile in my eyes.
“You can’t even be serious when you’re eating an apple,” Severus said in a low, slightly breathless voice in my ear.
"I only act silly in front of people I like." I loosened his collar and gently patted the seat next to me.
"Do you have any books suitable for me to read? Give me one." Severus is also a book lover. Seeing me eating an apple while reading, he suddenly wanted to read with me.
"This was sent to me by my brother to keep me entertained." I took out a book about herbs that I had just finished reading from my backpack and handed it to Severus.
Severus had never read this book before, and he was immediately captivated by it.
After I finished eating the apple, I used a levitation spell to send the peel into the kitchen trash can without a staff.
Severus and I sat on the sofa, leaning against each other, each holding a book, immersed in the world of books.
I leaned gently on Severus's shoulder, feeling his warmth and presence.
His arms were around me, making me feel incredibly safe and comfortable.
Our bodies were pressed tightly together, as if we had become one, and each other's existence was the greatest comfort to the other.
We sat quietly on the sofa, without saying a word, the only sounds being the turning of pages and each other's breathing.
The candlelight shone on us, warm and soft, making us feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed.
At that moment, time seemed to stand still, and the whole world became quiet and beautiful.
I don't know how much time had passed, but I felt a little tired, so I gently closed the book, leaned on Severus's shoulder, closed my eyes, and enjoyed this moment of tranquility.
Severus sensed my exhaustion and gently stroked my hair, which made me feel incredibly warm and comforted.
"Are you tired? Do you want to rest for a while?" Severus asked softly.
"Yeah, I'm a little tired, but it feels really comfortable leaning against you like this," I replied.
Severus smiled, said nothing, and simply held me tightly in his arms.
I felt his love and care, and my heart was filled with contentment.
In this noisy world, we are always busy with work and life, and rarely have time to calm down and enjoy such tranquility and beauty.
At that moment, Severus and I were together, reading our favorite books, feeling each other's presence and love, which made Severus feel incredibly content.
Just the day before, I was snuggling up with Severus reading a book, and now I'm dragging my suitcase to the house next door to Aunt Harry's.
"Senior Ayers, you're back." It was around this time, before I even started first grade, when I ran into him while he was taking out the trash from his aunt's house.
At that time, I didn't even know that wizards existed in this world.
Harry still remembers vividly the scene of our first meeting.
Harry seemed lost in his own world; when I greeted him, he seemed to be in a daze.
"Harry, what's wrong?" I raised my hand and waved it in front of him.
"Oh, sorry, senior, I was just spacing out." Harry snapped out of his reverie and realized how impolite it was to daydream while they were talking.
"What are you thinking about? You can even get distracted while talking." It's really rare to see someone get distracted while speaking.
“It’s nothing, I was just thinking about the first time I met Senior Ayers,” Harry said with a smile.
“That was all a year ago.” Following Harry’s words, I also recalled the first time I met Harry.
I think I was talking to Harry here, pulling my luggage at the time.
"Yes, I'm really grateful for that letter you gave me back then. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had the chance to go to Hogwarts. My aunt and uncle really hate wizards and wouldn't have let me go to school," Harry said with a smile, thanking me.
“No need to be so polite with me. That letter was just from Hogwarts. You haven’t opened it yet, which is why your aunt and uncle’s house is full of owls.” I simply sat on my suitcase and chatted with Harry. Anyway, Riddle and Gellert Grindelwald weren’t home right now, so there was no need for me to go back to my own home so soon.
"Harry, why is Auntie's house so quiet?" I wondered why it seemed like no one was home at Auntie's house.
“They all went to the amusement park, and I was left at home to guard the house.” Harry looked lonely as he mentioned his aunt and uncle’s family.
"Since they're not home, why don't you come over to my house for a bit? My family isn't home either." Seeing Harry's lonely expression, she wanted to pull him into her arms to comfort him.
"Won't it bother you?" Harry was still a very polite child; he was afraid that coming to my house to play would disturb me.
"No, have you finished your holiday homework? You can come to my house, and I'll teach you how to do it." I stood up, picked up my suitcase, and waited for Harry's reply.
“That’s wonderful, Senior Ayers! I haven’t done a single word of my homework yet. My aunt and uncle won’t let me touch anything related to magic at home. It would be so great if you could let me do my homework at your house.” Harry was overjoyed; he finally had time to do his homework.
“You’d love to come to my house. I’ll head back now, but feel free to come anytime. I’m usually home,” I said to Harry with a smile.
"Okay, I'll go back and get my books first, then I'll go find your senior, Ayers." Harry happily ran back in a flash.
Seeing Harry run away, I just shook my head and smiled, then picked up my suitcase and walked towards my house next door.
I took out my key and opened the door. Every time I came back, I had to block out the light with my hand. The whole house was glittering and opulent.
I went into my home only after my eyes had adjusted to the light.
Without a cane, he used his "Clean and Tidy" skill to tidy up the place that had been uninhabited for a while, and then put the suitcase he had pulled out as a formality back into his portable backpack.
Just as I was preparing a fruit salad to welcome Harry, I suddenly heard a knock at the door. I opened it and there he was, Harry, carrying his homework.
"Hey Harry, is this all your homework? How come there's so much?" I asked in surprise, looking at Harry holding books that were blocking his view.
“Yeah, every professor assigns a lot of homework and papers, and there are so many reference books to find.” Harry’s arms were getting sore from holding them.
"Oh, sorry." I immediately took some of the books from his hands and then we went together to the tea table in the lobby.
"It's okay, I think I can still lift my books." Harry, who followed me into the house, didn't notice the opulence of my home at first. But after he finished talking to me and looked around, he was completely stunned.
"Um~ it's just a little hobby of mine, I especially like golden yellow." I'm well aware of how dazzling my house is.
Harry walked into the hall, put his homework and books on the table, and stood on the huge golden carpet, feeling a little uneasy.
“Senior Ayers, I never knew you liked gold so much.” Harry kept looking around.
That's nonsense. It's all system configuration, what does it have to do with me?
"Alright, stop looking. Now you should get on with your homework." I interrupted Harry's reading, put his book on the table, went back to close the door, and then went to the kitchen to get some pastries and fruit salad and put them on the table.
“Senior Ayers, are we doing our homework sitting on the floor?” Harry pointed to the tea table and then to the blanket on the floor.
"Harry, it's just you doing the homework. I got special permission; none of the professors will assign me any homework." I leisurely took out a book to read.
"That's great, Senior Ayers. I'm so envious of your special permission not to do homework or papers." Harry was just saying it casually. When he saw that I was already sitting next to him reading, he started to do his homework seriously.
One of us was doing homework, and the other was reading a book; we were both studying quietly.
Suddenly Harry walked up to me with his homework. I looked up at him, put down my book, took his homework, looked at the questions, and then started thinking.
After a while, I looked up at Harry and said, "This problem should be solved like this..."
I explained the problem to Harry, and after listening, he suddenly understood.
"Oh, I see. Thank you, Ayers." Harry happily picked up his books and put them back into his pile of homework.
"You're welcome, it's what I should do." I picked up the book again and continued reading.
"Are there any other questions you can't answer?" I asked while reading the book.
“I can’t do several of these questions.” Harry sat down next to me with his book in hand.
"Then let me take another look at it for you." I put down my book and earnestly taught Harry how to do his homework.
I looked at a few more questions for Harry and explained them to him.
After listening, he felt that he had a deeper understanding of these questions.
“Thank you, Senior Ayers, you’re a really good teacher,” Harry said.
"You're welcome. I'll be happy as long as you can learn it." I patted his little head.
So Harry did his homework at my house all afternoon until his aunt came to call him home for dinner.
"I should go home for dinner. Goodbye, Senior Ayers." Harry once again carried a pile of books back to his aunt's house.
"Goodbye, and feel free to come visit anytime." I saw him off at the door.
"You're welcome." I smiled and watched him leave.
Harry left my house, and I watched his back as he walked away. Although his grades weren't very good, he was a very kind and intelligent child.
