The remaining protective shield shattered completely, and Vegeta's Ultra Instinct kick landed squarely on Granora's face, producing a clear cracking sound.
Granora's body flew backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing through several broken walls before falling heavily into the ruins, raising a cloud of dust.
With his ultimate form, Vegeta rushed forward, his crimson figure weaving through the ruins, giving his opponent no chance to catch his breath.
Vegeta followed to watch the spectacle, arms crossed, eyes scrutinizing his other self as he silently observed his fighting style.
"Damn it! I haven't even defeated Frieza yet, how could I lose to you?" Granora crawled out of the rubble, her face bruised and swollen, and roared angrily, "You're just a mere Saiyan fighter! What makes you think you're stronger than me!"
"I don't know what you've heard," Ultra Instinct Vegeta said calmly, his tone undisturbed. "The disappearance of our home planet, Planet Vegeta, was not due to the fall of a giant meteorite; that was a lie fabricated by Frieza."
"What?" Granora was stunned, stopped her attack, and her eyes were filled with astonishment.
Why did you mention Planet Vegeta?
What does this have to do with our battle?
“It was Frieza who destroyed our planet,” Ultra Instinct Vegeta replied, his tone carrying a barely perceptible chill.
Granora froze, her mouth slightly agape, her mind blank.
"We Saiyans were also wiped out by Frieza. Now, there are only a handful of Saiyans left, almost on the verge of extinction." Vegeta of Ultimate Vegeta's expression was indifferent, his eyes devoid of any emotion, as if he were talking about something that had nothing to do with him.
"Could it be..." Granora's pupils shrank drastically.
“Hey, Granora, this isn’t what we’ve heard,” Otmir’s voice rang in Granora’s ear, tinged with confusion. “The Saiyans seem to be victims too.”
"So what if it is?" Granora roared, suppressing the wavering in her heart, and once again unleashed a powerful punch at Vegeta in his ultimate form, her fist enveloped in dense energy. "The Saiyans exterminated the Cyrillians, that is an undeniable fact, and the blood debt must be repaid in blood!"
Vegeta, in his Ultimate form, didn't dodge, nor did he even change his expression. He simply used his forehead to take the punch that was coming at him head-on.
"boom!"
With a muffled thud, Granora's fist slammed heavily into Vegeta's head, producing a dull impact.
Blood flowed from Vegeta's forehead as he reached Ultra Instinct, trickling down his cheeks and dripping onto the ground, blooming into tiny blood flowers.
"Whatever, I'm just stating the facts. I have no intention of gaining your sympathy." Vegeta of Ultimate Ego sneered, raised his large foot at Granora, and kicked him high into the air with a whooshing sound.
Granora tumbled through the air countless times, like a spinning top, before finally grabbing onto the steel bars of the tower in mid-air. Her body swung violently, bringing her to a steady stop, her face as pale as paper.
Immediately afterwards, Granora gasped for breath, her chest heaving like a bellows, clearly indicating that she had exhausted herself.
“Granora, the Saiyans are indeed victims too. Perhaps we have really misunderstood them,” Otmir said to Granora, his tone carrying a persuasive tone.
"So what if it is?" Granora sneered, a hint of struggle flashing in her eyes, but it was quickly replaced by determination. "The Saiyans wiped out the Cyrillians, that's an undeniable fact. Even if they were destroyed by Frieza, it wouldn't erase the sins they committed!"
“But judging from the situation… those two don’t know anything about this. They really don’t seem to know anything about Cyril.” Otmir continued to persuade Granora, hoping she could calm down.
"You're too long-winded, Otmir!" Granora was very annoyed. She ripped off the blindfold covering her eyes and tossed it aside. "My revenge doesn't need your meddling!"
“Hey…” Otmir was speechless. His blindfold arced through the air and landed on the ground below with a “thud,” raising a small cloud of dust.
“I am already number one in the universe. I don’t need your help. Your existence will only interfere with me,” Granora said calmly, revealing the eye that had been covered.
The pupil of that eye emitted an eerie red light, contrasting sharply with the other green pupil, exuding an ominous aura.
Vegeta looked from afar and noticed that Granora's pupils were one red and one green, and a thought suddenly struck him.
I have a feeling that I've seen this race somewhere before.
Or you've heard of it somewhere.
This type of bicolor pupil is a very unique feature.
Vegeta fell into deep thought, his brow furrowed, as he tried to search his mind for relevant memories.
"Hey, did you come from another timeline?" Ultra Instinct Vegeta asked, looking at his other self with a hint of inquiry in his voice, his purplish-red aura subsiding slightly.
Vegeta nodded, neither denying nor denying, and readily admitted, "That's right, I do come from another time and space."
"You can transform into Deep Blue, which means you've already been through the Tournament of Power?" Ultra Instinct Vegeta asked.
"What is the Tournament of Power?" Vegeta was taken aback, a look of confusion on his face. He had never heard of this term before.
"You...you haven't participated in the Tournament of Power yet?" Ultra Instinct Vegeta was a little surprised, as if he had heard something unbelievable, and asked, "Then what era are you in now?"
“Beerus has just awakened and is preparing for a match against Universe 6, in the next few days,” Vegeta answered truthfully, a hint of wariness in his eyes, wondering why the other was asking these questions.
Ultimate Vegeta: "..."
Ultimate Vegeta fell silent, looking at Vegeta with a complicated expression, unable to utter a word for a long time.
Did this guy activate his deep blue transformation during this period?
Your level of power is a bit ahead of its time; you're progressing even faster than my own version in this timeline.
"What era are we in now?" Vegeta asked, filled with curiosity, wanting to know how much he had experienced in this timeline.
"In short, it's at least 10 years ahead of your timeline, and many things have happened that you can't even imagine," Vegeta of Ultimate Ego said in a deep voice, his tone tinged with emotion.
Vegeta: "..."
Vegeta immediately felt much better, and his tense nerves relaxed.
It was more than 10 years ahead of my time.
In this timeline, I don't seem to be anything special.
It took me 10 years to reach this level, and I still have a lot of time to catch up and even surpass it!
"How did you get here? Through Trunks' time machine?" Ultra Instinct Vegeta asked again, his tone tinged with suspicion.
“No.” Vegeta shook his head and replied, “It was the battle between Kakarot and that guy Merus. The energy collision was too intense, and a spacetime rift appeared. I was accidentally pulled in and ended up here inexplicably.”
“Merces? Kakarot?” Ultra Instinct Vegeta was taken aback, raised an eyebrow, and a look of understanding flashed in his eyes. “So it’s that guy.”
"Do you know Merus?" Vegeta asked quickly, his heart filled with curiosity.
"That guy is an apprentice angel, training with the Galactic Patrol, pretending to be an ordinary person," Ultra Instinct Vegeta snorted, giving the answer.
"You... what did you say? He's an angel?" Vegeta was initially shocked, his mouth agape enough to fit an egg, before he suddenly realized what was going on.
No wonder he's so strong; I can't beat him no matter what.
The mystery has now been solved.
He was actually an angel!
No wonder he possesses such immense power, even able to use Ultra Instinct.
“That’s right, he’s an apprentice angel undergoing training with the Galactic Patrol.” Ultra Instinct Vegeta glanced at Vegeta indifferently. “Don’t you know? This isn’t a secret in our timeline.”
"I just found out from you too." Vegeta's lips twitched, and he cursed Whis inwardly.
Weiss, you've gone too far!
You actually called an angel to fight me!
He still won't tell me his real identity.
No wonder I could never beat him no matter how hard I tried.
No one could possibly defeat an angel!
"Why are Kakarot and Merus fighting? Is it just a friendly spar?" Vegeta asked casually.
“Yes.” Vegeta nodded.
"Hmph, no matter how hard Kakarot tries, he can't possibly be a match for Merus. He's just asking for trouble. The power of an angel isn't so easy to surpass." Vegeta, in his Ultimate Instinct form, chuckled softly, his tone carrying a hint of certainty.
"Kakarot can already transform into Super Saiyan 6." Vegeta lowered his head and said in a low voice, his tone tinged with resentment.
"I told you so, of course he couldn't possibly be a match for Merus, no matter how much he changes..." Self-Mastery Vegeta said to himself, but before he could finish speaking, he suddenly choked, as if something was stuck in his throat.
The self-ultimate Vegeta stared wide-eyed at his other self, looking utterly astonished, as if he had heard a fairy tale.
"You... what did you say? You just said Kakarot turned into what? Super Saiyan 6? What is that?" Ultimate Vegeta was stunned, his voice trembling, unable to believe his ears.
"Super Saiyan 6!" Vegeta clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white, his tone laced with a hint of gritted teeth, "I'm not afraid to tell you, my Super Saiyan Blue just now couldn't even last one round against him before I was defeated, the difference in strength is just too great."
Vegeta, now at Ultimate Instinct, was stunned. His mouth was slightly open, and he couldn't speak for a long time. His aura became unstable due to shock.
Super Saiyan 6?
Are you kidding me?
There are so many forms after Super Saiyan 3? That's impossible!
"What does Super Saiyan 6 look like? Is there anything special about it?" Vegeta, who had reached Ultra Instinct, suddenly became interested, leaning forward slightly with curiosity in his eyes.
"It's based on Super Saiyan 5, transforming into Super Saiyan God. Both power and speed have undergone a qualitative leap, and the aura is completely different," Vegeta replied, recalling Goku's transformation.
Ultimate Vegeta: "..."
Ultimate Vegeta fell silent again, feeling his worldview being challenged.
Super Saiyan Five?
Super Saiyan 6?
What are these?
I've never even seen a Super Saiyan 4.
"By the way, you probably haven't seen Super Saiyan 5." Vegeta suddenly realized, and seeing the other's astonished expression, a strange sense of superiority welled up inside him.
Vegeta's face darkened, and a hint of displeasure flashed in his eyes.
Forget Super Saiyan 5, I've never even seen Super Saiyan 4. Are you showing off on purpose?
“And there’s Super Saiyan 4!” Vegeta replied, as if afraid that he hadn’t impressed his opponent enough, and continued, “It’s actually a transformation from Great Ape form to Super Saiyan. It’s a relatively ancient transformation, and the power is also very strong.”
"Super Saiyan 6! Interesting? Is it as powerful as I am now?" Vegeta, in his Ultimate Self, was nonchalant, his eyes brimming with confidence, and his purplish-red aura surged once more. "My Ultimate Self surpasses the power of all Super Saiyan forms!"
"It's hard to say, I don't know either." Vegeta shook his head, unsure which of the two was stronger.
"If that spacetime rift reappears, after I've finished dealing with things here, I might switch identities with you and go over there to see just how strong the so-called Super Saiyan 6 really is." Ultimate Vegeta smiled even more broadly, his eyes filled with the desire to fight.
Vegeta: "..."
Vegeta's lips twitched, a wave of resistance washing over him.
As the two were talking, Granora descended from the sky and landed heavily beside the two Vegetas, cracking the ground beneath her feet, clearly having regained some strength.
"Chatting with your own clone, how lonely and bored must you be?" Granora chuckled, her tone laced with sarcasm, but her eyes were filled with wariness.
The two Vegetas were speechless for a moment, then frowned simultaneously.
