Chapter 49 Target Temple
Chapter 49 Target Temple
When Gray woke up, a familiar voice rang in his ears.
"woke up."
"Shirou!?"
Gray quickly sat up, looked at Shirou Kotomine sitting next to him, and asked in surprise, "What are you doing here?"
"Of course I'm here to chase after you!"
"Have you forgotten, Gray? Your mission is to bring Natsu and Lucy back, isn't it?"
Kotomine Shirou said with a light laugh.
"Oh, this!"
Upon hearing Shirou Kotomine's words, Gray was immediately stunned.
Clearly, he had recalled his mission, which made him extremely embarrassed.
However, this awkward situation did not last long.
His expression changed as he considered a certain possibility, and he quickly asked, "Shirou, you came alone this time, didn't you?"
Do you think this is possible?
Seeing Gray's tense expression, Shirou Kotomine laughed.
After all, even Gray himself probably wouldn't believe such a question!
If Gray didn't bring Natsu and Lucy back, how could the guild master possibly send Shirou Kotomine to rescue Grandpa Calabash one by one?
"Who is that?!"
Gray's voice trembled.
"It's the one you're thinking of."
Shirou Kotomine shattered Gray's illusions.
In this situation, there are simply no other possibilities!
"Erza?"
"Um!"
""
After a brief silence, Gray jumped up immediately.
Without any regrets, he immediately tried to escape from the tent and get out of Erza's reach.
But Shirou Kotomine's hand pressed firmly against his shoulder.
"Where are you going, Gray?!"
Kotomine Shirou asked with a forced smile.
"Don't stop me, Shirou! I have important things to do, and I absolutely cannot let Erza catch me now."
Gray struggled incessantly.
"Don't even think about it. If I let you get away, I will definitely be punished."
Kotomine Shirou immediately put his arm around Gray's neck, giving him no chance to escape.
He came to punish Natsu and Lucy.
They didn't come here to be punished by Erza.
Gray wants to run? Impossible!
"Erza, come quick! Gray's trying to escape!"
Erza was in a tent not far from the tents where Shirou Kotomine and Gray were.
So upon hearing Shirou Kotomine's call, Erza quickly arrived outside the tent where Shirou Kotomine and Gray were, and then slowly walked in.
"Where do you think you're going, Gray?"
Erza said imposingly.
Upon seeing Erza arrive, Gray stopped struggling.
He was very self-aware and knew that he was no match for Erza.
Soon, Gray was taken to another tent.
There, Lucy and Happy were bound by ropes and dared not move.
"I've already heard what happened from Lucy. Gray, weren't you here to stop Natsu and Lucy?"
Faced with this situation, Gray knew he had no room for explanation.
Therefore, he had no choice but to face Erza head-on.
"Erza, now that you know about what happened on this island, you should know how dangerous it is. Deliora is about to be resurrected."
"At that time, none of the island's inhabitants will survive."
Gray shouted loudly.
"Are you trying to pressure me with grand principles?"
"Very well, I'll remember that, Gray. I'll personally carry out your punishments twice over from now on."
Erza's lips curled up slightly.
But it wasn't a smile.
Instead, it was dissatisfaction.
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Gray asked, puzzled.
Patting him on the shoulder, Shirou Kotomine smiled and explained, "Erza had already taken on the mission to the Cursed Island before we came."
"So now it's Erza's mission."
"How dare you threaten Erza, brave warrior! Good luck, Gray!"
Shirou Kotomine patted Gray on the shoulder again, then shook his head and left the tent.
Gray was left standing there, dumbfounded.
Soon, a loud shout came from the tent.
"I'm sorry, Erza, I didn't mean to, please forgive me!"
That was Gray's wailing.
Erza stood outside smiling and waited for a moment before emerging with a grim-faced Gray, Lucy, and Happy.
"Let's go, it's time to set off!"
Turning back, Shirou Kotomine said with a light laugh.
.
After deciding to set off, Shirou Kotomine and his group quickly headed towards the temple, which would become the final battlefield.
On the way, Gray also began to tell some stories about his childhood.
And some of his conclusions.
For example, Uru did not die.
According to him, the forbidden technique used by Uru was a magic that transformed himself into eternal ice to freeze his opponent.
So Uru is not dead.
Instead, it was people who turned into ice.
Therefore, for Gray, the culprit behind this incident, his senior brother Rio, was undoubtedly trying to kill Uru by wanting to melt the ice.
He absolutely had to stop this.
Listening to Gray's words, Shirou Kotomine was filled with emotion.
Shirou Kotomine can sense Gray's emotions.
In Shirou Kotomine's memory, the reason why Greg's senior, Rio, wanted to melt the ice that sealed Deliora was to defeat Deliora and thus surpass Ultear.

The mages gathered around him were all survivors of the destruction of their homes by Deliora.
They gathered around Leo with the intention of completely killing Deliora.
To avenge his blood relatives.
In a sense, there is no right or wrong in this matter.
This is a clash of beliefs.
Thinking of this, Shirou Kotomine, who originally planned to rush in and fight alongside Gray, changed his mind.
Let Gray handle things inside.
Anyway, Deliora was already dead at this point.
Even if the ice that froze it melts, it will be of no use anymore.
"I'll just stay out here and observe, and then I'll go and witness it!"
Seeing the mages pouring out of the forest blocking his way, Shirou Kotomine immediately stopped in his tracks.
"Grey, stay close to me, I'll clear the way for you!"
With a wave of his hand, Shirou Kotomine projected a long, blue spear.
It is still the Thunder Emperor's Spear.
But this time, Shirou Kotomine intends to use it as a staff.
"Shirou!?"
Gray was somewhat puzzled by Shirou Kotomine's words.
"This doesn't seem like a good solution, so you shouldn't waste your time here."
"You must really want to personally confront your senior brother and protect your teacher, right? Then go for it, don't let yourself regret it!"
Having said that, Shirou Kotomine launched his attack.
All the mages who stood in his way were sent flying by his whip.
Gray followed closely behind Shirou Kotomine.
Soon, the two of them had cut through the group of mages.
"Go quickly!"
Kotomine Shirou urged.
"Okay, I'm off then!"
Gray gave Shirou Kotomine a deep look before running toward the temple.
"Keep it up, Gray!"
"Don't lose!"
Kotomine Shirou shouted loudly.
"I will absolutely not lose!"
Gray shouted loudly as well.
