Chapter 11 Heading Towards Fairy Tail
Chapter 11 Heading Towards Fairy Tail
"ah!!!"
The fierce waves slammed the ship where Kotomine Shirou was staying onto the shore.
So when the waves receded, all that remained on the shore were broken ships and the surrounding docks, which were nearly half reduced to ruins.
"That's truly enviable, that terrifying magical power."
Sitting on a high spot of ruins, Shirou Kotomine looked around at the scene and couldn't help but sigh.
At this moment, Shirou Kotomine's mind was clearer than ever before.
He realized that what was most precious to him in this world was not the various kinds of magic, but the most basic magic forging techniques.
The potential for this technology is terrifying.
Even the strongest individuals forged their magical power using the same techniques.
Think about Lucy's attack earlier.
This is because being at sea amplifies the celestial abilities of Aquarius.
Even so, Lucy's magical power cannot be ignored.
In reality, Lucy's magical powers are not even considered outstanding.
In Shirou Kotomine's memory, skilled Celestial Spirit Mages seem to be able to summon more than one Celestial Spirit to fight at the same time.
Lucy clearly cannot do that yet.
"Compared to the magical power of the mages in this world, my magical power is simply unbearable to look at."
Everything is subject to comparison.
The same goes for Shirou Kotomine.
As the first generation of the Type-Moon magic system, Shirou Kotomine possesses twenty-seven magic loops, which is undoubtedly outstanding.
But compared to Lucy at this moment, she was completely outclassed.
This gap in training systems is something that Shirou Kotomine's personal abilities cannot bridge.
However, the magic system in the Type-Moon universe isn't without its advantages.
Compared to the wide-ranging fighting style of the mages in this world, the magic techniques in the Type-Moon world are much more refined.
This is most likely due to the fact that the Type-Moon system has relatively little magical power.
.
"Ah! I'm finally not dizzy anymore!"
The familiar voice reached Kotomine Shirou's ears, and he smiled and turned around to look in the direction from which the voice came.
That was Natsu moving his body.
"Are you alright, Natsu?"
"It's alright, I just don't need to take the boat. Thanks a lot for your help, Shirou!"
After the dizziness subsided, Natsu's face returned to a smile.
He also expressed his gratitude for Shirou Kotomine's previous help.
"It's good that you've recovered!"
Kotomine Shirou nodded slightly.
"Can you still fight? How about we fight together?"
"No, I'll deal with these guys myself."
Natsu rejected Shirou Kotomine's offer.
His expression turned serious.
"I will never forgive those who slander our guild."
"Is that so? In that case, I'll leave him to you. Let me see for myself the strength of the Fairy Tail guild's mages."
Kotomine Shirou once again withdrew his fighting spirit.
Rather than fighting this mage, he would rather witness firsthand the strength of Natsu Dragneel, the original protagonist of this world and a Dragon Slayer mage.
"Just you wait and see!"
Seeing that Kotomine Shirou had handed over the enemy to him and had also discovered his identity.
Natsu's face was beaming with an extremely sunny smile.
Then flames erupted from his fist, and within those flames, Shirou Kotomine sensed an aura completely different from the flames he had created with magic.
"Is this the fire of a dragon?"
Kotomine Shirou savored it carefully.
Although Shirou Kotomine is not particularly skilled in magic, he has developed the curiosity of a magician to explore the root of things.
After all, compared to the mages of this world, the magicians of the Type-Moon world are more like scientists.
Everyone has completely different priorities.
"Shirou, Natsu!"
Lucy's voice suddenly rang out.
Her voice was filled with worry and guilt.
"We're over here, Lucy! Happy!"
Kotomine Shirou waved his hand.
Upon hearing the response, Lucy quickly ran over, with Happy beside her.
"Thank goodness, Shirou, I'm so glad you're alright."
Seeing that Shirou Kotomine was safe and sound, Lucy breathed a sigh of relief.
"If you're really worried about my safety, I hope you'll pay attention to my position as a teammate next time you attack. At least remind me."
Kotomine Shirou couldn't help but retort.
Although he was mentally prepared, who knows how frightened he was when he saw the surging waves while he was fighting?
That scene was absolutely terrifying!
Fortunately, the Protoss who unleashed this attack knew the consequences and only intended to wash them ashore, rather than slam them into the seabed.
Otherwise, his life would be in grave danger by now.
"Haha!"
Upon hearing Shirou Kotomine's words, Lucy immediately stuck out her tongue in an attempt to get away with it by being cute.
But Shirou Kotomine clearly wasn't buying it.
After all, when he was in school, Shirou Kotomine was a star who was very popular with women, and all the female friends around him were beautiful.
He even has a super pretty and mischievous younger sister at home.
Clearly, he was already completely immune to Lucy's expression.
"By the way, where did Natsu go?!"
Seeing that her attempt to get away with being cute wasn't working, Lucy quickly tried another tactic: changing the subject.

Even Happy, who was standing nearby, couldn't stand it anymore.
"That's such an awkward change of topic, Lucy."
Habi shrugged and started complaining.
Seeing that even Happy was criticizing her, Lucy's head immediately bulged with veins.
Anger surged up instantly.
She hadn't forgotten the scene where the cat carried her flying and then crashed into the sea.
She couldn't even imagine what would have happened if she hadn't been able to swim.
Seeing this, Shirou Kotomine shook his head helplessly and decided to let Lucy go.
"Natsu is over there."
Kotomine Shirou pointed at Natsu, who was confronting the fake fire dragon.
"Sigh, is Natsu going to fight that sleazy liar? Let's go help him."
As she spoke, Lucy was about to run forward.
But Shirou Kotomine grabbed her hand and stopped her.
"Natsu doesn't intend for us to get involved in this battle; he stole it from me in the first place."
"But!"
Lucy, who treated Natsu like an ordinary person, had a face full of worry.
"Don't worry, Natsu won't be defeated by this kind of guy."
"Harpy said with a proud look on his face."
"That's right, you know what? Lucy, Natsu is the Fairy Tail mage we want to join!"
"well!!!"
Lucy was shocked when she suddenly learned of this news.
Natsu's previous impression of her was that he was completely unreliable.
She quickly looked at Natsu intently.
And so, she clearly saw Natsu fighting like a fire dragon.
In particular, the ability to consume flames to restore physical strength and magic power truly astonished her.
"A dragon's lungs can breathe fire, a dragon's scales can melt fire, and a dragon's claws can trap fire. This is the ancient magic that transforms one's own physique into that of a dragon."
Happy calmly introduced them to Lucy and Shirou Kotomine.
"Dragon-slaying magic? What amazing magic!"
"And there are countless magical spells like this in this world."
"Now, I'm getting more and more excited for Fairy Tail."
Witnessing Natsu spewing flames in front of him, Shirou Kotomine's eyes were filled with anticipation.
"But isn't this going a bit too far?"
Lucy, standing next to Shirou Kotomine, shouted loudly.
Under Natsu's attack, the entire port had been reduced to ruins.
"Looks like we need to prepare for our escape!"
The experienced Harpy remained calm as he spoke.
"Me, us? Why do we have to run too?"
"Didn't you want to join Fairy Tail?" Natsu, having finished his battle, stood on high ground and laughed heartily. "Then come with me!"
