It's a good thing anyway.

"Next, we will focus on producing floor fans according to this standard, and then simplify it to produce ceiling fans and table fans, so that we can install more ceiling fans in our workshop."

"Okay, I'll get to it right away."

I might not be so enthusiastic about other things, but with the weather getting hotter and hotter, having an electric fan a day earlier would make things a bit cooler.

With the experience of making table fans, all you need to do is remove the cover and replace it with a large fan blade that is one meter long.

Then, add a rod to the back of the motor and fix it to the beam, and it becomes a ceiling fan.

Converting it into a table fan is not technically difficult; you just need to remove some of the handle and change the overall height.

There's no timer; I just made a three-position switch, mainly for my own use, so it doesn't need to be fancy.

To achieve a beautiful shape, we'll have to wait for the large-scale application of plastics to create rounded and attractive designs.

At this point, the focus shifts to being ugly, big, bulky, and clumsy; practicality is all that matters.

As soon as the ceiling fans were made, they were installed in the workshop.

He Yuzhu immediately gained a lot of goodwill. After the workshop was installed, the installation was carried out in the office, and a ceiling fan was installed in each room.

In just two days, the machinery factory, which previously had no electric fans, immediately installed electric fans on a large scale.

Walking inside the workshop, although it was still a bit stuffy, there was a continuous breeze blowing down from above, making it much cooler than before, and the workers were full of energy.

As the saying goes, you can't hide fire with paper; the news that the machine factory owned electric fans spread like wildfire.

Director Li, along with several street-level officials, came directly to our door.

Although He Yuzhu had an electric fan, he was still dressed very coolly inside the house when he heard on the phone that they were coming to inspect the place.

He quickly put on a white short-sleeved shirt, buttoned it up, and went to the front door to greet them.

“He Yuzhu, I have to criticize you. You’ve already built an electric fan, but you didn’t even think to report it to me, the director.”

Director Li immediately began criticizing He Yuzhu upon seeing him.

He Yuzhu quickly apologized, "Director, I was just about to report this to you. We're working overtime to produce it and plan to deliver it to the neighborhood."

"Really? But I heard your factory has already installed over a hundred electric fans?"

For a large factory with more than 600 employees, wouldn't it require hundreds of fans to ensure that everyone gets a breeze?

He Yuzhu said, "Originally, there was no physical object, so it would take some time to verify after it was made, which is why I did not report to you immediately."

Director Li didn't actually come here to punish He Yuzhu; he was just saying it for the sake of it.

The original plan was to invite them into the office, but Director Li went straight into the workshop first.

Each lathe has a ceiling fan fixed above it, and the workers are making parts underneath, which is quite comfortable.

For the few machine stations that don't have crossbeams, a floor fan will be placed next to them to meet the needs of the employees.

Director Li then asked several workers, and they all praised the factory's good benefits, which made her very satisfied.

He Yuzhu was highly praised, and then the group was invited into the office.

A ceiling fan was also added here to make the whole room less stuffy.

Director Li inquired about the process of making the electric fan, and He Yuzhu gave a brief introduction without claiming that he invented it.

He just said that it was all the result of the workers' joint research and development, and that he no longer needed these credits in his current position, and that he didn't want to be the factory director anyway.

Finally, he said, "You've come at just the right time. We've just finished making 100 electric fans, in all three styles, which can be installed in all the offices in the neighborhood."

"I can't accept this!" Director Li said with a smile.

"It's alright, this is the profit we hand over, we'll settle it according to the ex-factory price."

Director Li was immediately left speechless, exclaiming, "So, you were waiting for me here all along!"

He Yuzhu chuckled: "I can't just pay for it myself, can I?"

The production cost of an electric fan is around 50 yuan, but the market price has exceeded 100 yuan.

He Yuzhu calculated the ex-factory price to be 70 yuan. Of course, ceiling fans are the cheapest, while floor fans are the most expensive.

After Director Li finished his inspection, He Yuzhu arranged for the factory workers to deliver all the fans to the street and help install the ceiling fans.

Having invented the electric fan, He Yuzhu went on to create a brushless motor.

The terms "brushless motor" and "brushed motor" are relative terms.

Ordinary electric fans use brushed motors; the difference between them is whether or not a carbon brush is needed.

The material of carbon brushes is the famous graphite.

Brushed motors have coils wound around the rotor and permanent magnets fixed to the stator.

To make the rotor rotate continuously and at different speeds, the coils need to be supplied with a stable and continuous power supply.

Since the coil is fixed on the rotor and rotates continuously, a commutator and carbon brushes are needed to work together to commutate the current in the rotor coil at a certain frequency, thereby achieving rotor rotation.

To allow for both contact and electrical conduction between the two components, as well as rotation to change the current, a common practice is to add a spring to the carbon brush.

This results in frequent friction between the commutator and the carbon brushes. Consequently, the carbon brushes wear out easily and must be replaced frequently. Furthermore, the worn-off carbon residue forms carbon deposits inside the motor, requiring regular cleaning.

This is also a drawback of brushed motors.

To solve this problem, He Yuzhu thought of brushless motors.

In simple terms, a brushless motor uses a permanent magnet as the rotor, while the stator becomes an energized coil. Continuous rotation of the motor is achieved by changing the direction of the current in the stator at a specific frequency. This method eliminates the need for physical carbon brushes; instead, it uses a specific circuit to change the phase (direction) of the stator coils.

To be precise, it means winding all the energized coils onto the stator.

When electricity is applied, a magnetic force is generated, which drives a rotor made of permanent magnets to rotate.

Some might say, as long as the rotor rotates, the fan will start to turn, right?

Why bother inventing a brushless motor?

In fact, brushless motors have a wider range of applications, most commonly used in kitchens such as blenders, juicers, coffee makers, egg beaters, rice cookers, food processors, grain grinders, vertical blenders, meat grinders, and electric cutters.

Brushless motors are the core power source for these kitchen appliances.

Its industrial applications are also very extensive; for example, in the past, screws were disassembled manually.

You need to use an open-end wrench or a box wrench to tighten the screws.

A brushless motor can be made into a hand drill; by changing different sockets, it can be used to screw screws electrically.

This is the significance of brushless motors.

Whether in smart homes or industrial production, brushless motors can be used wherever motors are used.

As He Yuzhu was about to leave work, the drawings were still not finished. Xu Xiaomei walked up to him, peered over, and asked:

"What are you drawing? How come it's the opposite of the structure inside an electric fan?"

He Yuzhu lowered his hand, lifted his long skirt, and placed his hand on Xu Xiaomei's thigh.

He said, "This is another type of motor, called a brushless motor."

Xu Xiaomei felt He Yuzhu's hand climbing upwards, and quickly reached out to press it down, shouting:

"This is an office!"

He Yuzhu said in a low voice, "I'll finish the drawing right away. I'll work overtime for a bit. Go back and change into that maid outfit and wait for me."

Xu Xiaomei blushed instantly when she thought of that maid outfit that exposed both the front and back: "No way."

Then he turned and ran out.

He Yuzhu smiled and continued drawing, finishing the drawing after a while.

Then I tidied myself up and left the office.

When we arrived at the courtyard, Xu Xiaomei had already changed her clothes.

However, it wasn't the maid outfit He Yuzhu had requested, but rather a set with a miniskirt and white shirt. Unfortunately, it lacked black stockings and only had matching high heels.

Her slender, fair legs were long and shapely, and with high heels, they looked even more upright.

Standing there, Xu Xiaomei was as beautiful as a graceful flower. Facing He Yuzhu's aggressive gaze, her cheeks flushed, and she was very embarrassed.

He Yuzhu was already quite satisfied with his performance, but still said:

"Why are you so disobedient? Didn't I tell you to wear that maid outfit?"

Xu Xiaomei exclaimed, "It's just a bellyband!"

He Yuzhu pulled her into his arms, one hand already inside her miniskirt, and said, "No one else is seeing, why are you so shy?"

"No way! Go take a shower now!"

Chapter 291 Factory Upgrade

Although Xu Xiaomei refused, He Yuzhu still dressed her in the maid outfit after she took a bath. After all, it wasn't the first time, and there was nothing wrong with her wearing a maid outfit.

After a while, Xu Xiaomei lay there somewhat languidly. He Yuzhu gave her a few instructions and then left.

Back home, he saw his beloved daughter sleeping soundly under the electric fan. He exchanged a few words with Xu Huizhen and then went to the small tavern in front of the house.

The house was bustling with activity, almost full of people. He Yuzhu hesitated about where to sit today, but Uncle Niu had already chased away one of the people at his table and invited He Yuzhu to sit down.
