This guy's brain isn't the problem. The goal of the Green Forest Project is to capture the cult leader, and the process must be cautious and secretive, without revealing locations where the conspiracy hasn't yet been uncovered.

Xu Fu seemed oblivious to the foolishness of his actions, and instead asked with great interest.

"Do you know where the sect's headquarters is? If you tell me, I'll give you a large sum of money, about 500,000, enough to ensure you live a life of comfort."

Tavern owner: "..."

Xu Fu took out a bank card and slammed it on the table with a "thud".

"Whether we do it or not, we'll pay a $100,000 deposit first."

The old man's eyes widened for a moment, then he muttered to himself.

"Oh my god, you're on drugs!"

I am very clear-headed.

Xu Fu then pulled out another bank card and said in an unusually commanding tone, "Here's 50, that's 60 in total, that's enough!"

"..."

This guy isn't sick.

Everyone thought of the same thing at the same time. Emily blushed slightly and held Xu Fu's hand tightly to steady him, which made her feel very embarrassed.

The old man coughed, glanced at the bank card with ill intent, and said in a feigned serious tone.

"Kid, I don't care what you're doing, this is my tavern. You'd better shut up, or I'll get rough with you."

After saying that, he turned and walked towards the kitchen, looking like he was about to cook.

Xu Fu shrugged: "There are many strange people and events in remote and impoverished areas. You don't want someone to deliver money to your door, do you, you fool!"

The room fell silent, filled with disdain: Xu Fu's behavior was no different from those rich second-generation spendthrifts who spent money to pick up girls.

If they hadn't given that person a second glance, that person would be trash.

By this time, the battle in the hall had ended. Adam threw the unconscious middle-aged man out of the tavern, picked up his travel bag, and stood beside Xu Fu like an obedient old dog.

His eyes were so cold, devoid of any emotion; anyone who met his gaze would feel their scalp tingle.

This is a true master, but he's used to being a doorman.

The crowd grew increasingly silent. If their previous reaction to Xu Fu's actions was merely one of disgust and resistance, it had now escalated to the point of utter hysteria. The strong have their own dignity; they don't need to be as weak as the nobodies and scoundrels in the mainstream.

The atmosphere was tense, so Nelson had to step forward and speak in a calm voice.

“I don’t need to repeat my superior’s orders. From now on, Xu Fu-Xiao is the commander of this unit. We must obey his orders and not disobey.”

The crowd remained silent, neither nodding nor shaking their heads.

Nelson Moy sighed and turned to Xu Fu, saying, "What do we do next? We should have done this a long time ago. Why didn't we go into the woods?"

"Who said we have to go into the woods!"

Xu Fu put his arm around Emily's shoulder and said excitedly, "Emily and I haven't seen each other for months. Why don't we get to know each other?"

"..."

Next, the public finally saw what it meant to be a "rich second generation who is not poor".

Xu Fu offered an exceptionally generous deal, buying the old bar for an exorbitant price that the bar owner couldn't refuse, thus transforming himself from a customer into the owner.

He then issued his first order as commander: a hunt. Everyone had to go and no one was allowed to leave. So the FBI team had no choice but to enter the forest with all sorts of modern weapons to hunt wild animals.

Xu Fu and Emily followed closely behind, flirting and bantering all the way, their various flirtatious exchanges making everyone's faces turn green.

Zatanna was at a loss: What is this guy doing? He's not some young and promising entrepreneur! Why would he behave like this? Rich kids, I hate rich kids the most.

There were a few people, each with cold eyes and exuding a fierce aura. They were clearly not ordinary people. Two of them had exceptionally strong life force, and were either magicians or superpowered individuals.

If such a group of people were to appear in a remote, dilapidated town at the same time, even a fool would see that something was amiss.

Regardless of what others thought, Xu Fu was very happy, chatting and laughing with Emily, and flirting with Zatana from time to time. His life couldn't be better.

The woods were teeming with wild animals. In half a day, they successfully captured rabbits, deer, rams, otters, and more. Nelson even shot two large wild boars with his rifle, their lips turning white.

With a bountiful harvest in sight, it's natural to light a fire.

Xu Fu ordered his men to bring out all the spices, wine, and food from the tavern, light a bonfire in the town square, and invite all the townspeople.

Everyone ate, drank, sang, and danced, partying until 9:30 p.m.

A drunken Xu Fu was carried to the tavern by Emily and Zatana, while the others gathered together and whispered among themselves.

"Operation Green Forest" involves seven FBI agents, all of whom are high-ranking and powerful agents, except for the director Nelson Decker and the unexpected Emily Song.

The middle-aged man who was brutally beaten by Adam was named Becky Beckman. He was a former elite Marine who served in the FBI and had distinguished himself in combat. He was a true military talent, though he was in very poor condition at the moment.

The remaining four people—a wilderness survival expert, an assassin, a wizard who casts detection magic, and a plant-based ability user—were all specially trained for the Green Forest Project, yet they encountered this situation on their very first day.

Everyone's face was somewhat expressionless, especially Becky, who hadn't said a word since waking up, only kept sharpening her knife, and no one knew what she was thinking.

The wizard Augustus said helplessly, "...After such a commotion, the rumors must have spread. What should we do next?"

Roy Hopper, who champions a plant-based lifestyle, sighed.

"I really don't understand why they sent a rich man to be the commander. What else can he do besides chasing women and eating and drinking?"

Survival expert Bear Grylls, fiddling with his multi-purpose dagger, said with a serious expression, "My biggest worry right now is that if the cultists in the forest get wind of it and start making moves, even if we find their lair, we'll come up empty-handed."

What are your thoughts?

Nelson looked at the only woman in the room, the assassin Vima: the FBI's sharpest blade, a super killer who had destroyed countless people.

Yu Ma said casually, "That big guy next to him is dangerous!"

One sentence left everyone speechless: We are discussing a plan, but you are worried about that important person, and you are not wrong!

Augusto hesitated for a moment, "Why don't we report it to the chief, ignore that rich man, and handle this ourselves?"

Roy nodded: "I think it's fine. That kid is a real nuisance. It's best to bring him along."

Nelson sighed.

"I've already called, but the bureau chief disagrees." "He ordered me to obey Xu Fu-Xiao's orders."

Now, everyone was completely at a loss: since the leader had said so, what could the subordinates do?

The discussion yielded no results and had to be dropped.

Chapter 1092 Cobra King!

The shadowy figure swelled and writhed, like a ferocious animal trying to break free of its cage. The old dog whimpered and trembled incessantly, appearing to be in extreme pain.

Bathed in moonlight, the scene appeared so eerie that anyone who witnessed it would be terrified.

A dozen seconds later, the old dog let out a miserable howl and fell to the ground. The dark shadow slowly turned into an oval snake head, with broad dorsal scales and a body thicker than an adult man's arm beneath it.

A colossal beast, seven meters long, slowly emerged from the shadows. Its body was covered with dense, fine scales, as black as ink, reflecting an eerie luster in the moonlight.

It's easy to tell from its appearance that it is the king cobra, the king of snakes.

The rabbits trapped in the cage sensed something; their fur stood on end, their bodies tensed, and they fainted from fright.

The snake king twisted its thick body as it wandered through the town, as if surveying its territory. When it passed a tavern, it stopped, its scarlet pupils flashing with a sinister light, as if it were thinking about something. But in the end, it did not stop. It crossed the street, crawled through a half-open window, and entered the wooden house. The snake raised its head high, looking threateningly at the tavern owner who was fast asleep on the bed.

The old man drank seven bottles of beer by himself and had a wonderful night. Hangover, he didn't even notice the terrifying monster that suddenly broke into the room.

The snake king burrowed into the blankets, its thick body coiling around the old man. Its jaws opened 640 degrees, and two venomous fangs, gleaming with blood-red light, sprang out from its writhing gums.

Red liquid, like flowing blood, seeped from its fangs.

At this moment, the old man suddenly woke up and saw the huge snake head and the blood-purple fangs in front of him. He was completely stunned, but he did not scream or struggle. He was just like a bewildered goose, numb with intense fear.

The snake's head slowly descended, gently biting the stiff neck. Its fangs pierced the flesh, and red liquid flowed through the arteries to all parts of the body. The old man's mouth opened wide, emitting a silent scream, and his body swayed wildly like a pendulum.

He tried to call for help, but could not make a sound; his body was entangled by the snake and he could not move.

A few seconds later, the old man stopped resisting, and the color of his pupils disappeared, turning completely black. But human emotions appeared in the snake king's eyes, and upon closer inspection, one could vaguely discern the old man's incessant wailing.

Time passed second by second, and after an unknown amount of time, the gloom in the old man's eyes dissipated, and his breathing became calm.

The snake king raised its head and left the old man's body, staring straight in the direction of the tavern.

"Cultists?"

A hoarse voice rang out in the room. The Snake King's (bbfh) lips curled upwards, revealing a human-like sneer: "A trash team led by rich second-generation kids actually wants to wipe out the followers of the King of Hell."

"What a ridiculous fellow, I haven't tasted him in ages."

"Plump flesh, delicious soul"

"That's terrible."

The snake king sighed deeply, reluctant to leave, but finally broke through the wooden door and disappeared into the dark, lightless swamp forest. Not long after he left, a magnificent hummingbird spread its wings and flew into the forest.

Inside the bedroom on the second floor of the tavern.

The FBI's seven-person team and Xu Fu's three-person team gathered together, watching with serious expressions as Hummingbird sent the signal.

The video shows the snake king moving through the forest at incredible speed, stopping two hours later in front of a waterfall, its massive body plunging into the stream, and then the video ends.

Xu Fu turned off the screen, looked around, shrugged, and then...

"Nelson, call your boss. I quit. I'm not playing anymore."
