"It's a great book, why are you blushing?"
Spa scratched his head, glanced at Pera's flushed cheeks, and a thought flashed through his mind:
"Could it be that you are the author of this book?"
"Huh? You figured that out? You're so smart... Waaaaaah!"
Pera blushed crimson, disregarding manners, turned around, and ran straight into the queue.
When the guards saw their commander's expression, they couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Pera gritted her teeth, stamped her foot, and stared at the soldiers, a hint of murderous intent emanating from the depths of her eyes.
The guards covered their mouths, not daring to make a sound.
"Laughing? You're still laughing! Don't just stand there, go bandage the wounded... hurry up!"
Pera swung his arms and gave loud instructions.
The guards dispersed one by one and got busy.
Even Pera joined in caring for the wounded, helping an elderly woman step by step toward a sheltered spot.
Spah stood aside, witnessing everything before him, and felt that the scene was both harmonious and strange.
The Iron Guards, though soldiers, are not like soldiers on most planets, who have stern faces and act like robots.
They removed their masks, smiles on their faces, and approached the wounded, bowing their heads to ask: Are you feeling unwell anywhere? Do you need any help?
The wounded soldiers were not afraid of the guards; they lifted their clothes and pointed out their wounds.
Some of the bolder ones even joked with the guards. Some even went directly to the quartermaster and demanded medicine.
The quartermaster wasn't angry; he simply followed procedure and arranged for people to line up to get their medicine. Everything proceeded smoothly and in an orderly fashion.
It's amazing that they haven't shown any signs of moral decay, even though they're facing a planetary crisis!
Is it a planet where faith is preserved?
It seems I really need to help them.
Spall muttered to himself, clenching his fist.
So where should I go to find the star core?
Spare lowered his head slightly, his mind racing, before he could figure it out, when his ears suddenly twitched and he heard a "yah!"
He turned his head to look at the source of the sound, only to see Firefly standing there. And Star was squatting beside her, busy with his hands.
Spas, curious, moved closer to observe.
But as soon as he looked, Spah's lips twitched, he clutched his stomach, and managed to hold back his laughter.
Xing is bandaging her wound.
However, she wasn't treating her own wounds; instead, she knelt down next to a guard, pulled out a bandage, and carefully wrapped it up.
Xing frowned, her movements as delicate as embroidery.

She tied a knot that was impossible to untie.
However, the girl did not give up and took out another long bunch of bandages, which she then tied around the patient's arm.
Her brows were furrowed, her movements gentle, like a mother caressing her baby, beads of sweat dripping from her forehead.
Finally, through tireless efforts, Xing...
It was tied into a bow.
Xing's face flushed red in an instant.
() Star: "Sorry, I'm not very good at it."
Iron Guard: "It's alright, I have a daughter who especially loves cute things."
Even from a great distance, Spa could clearly see the bulging veins on the top of Iron Guard's forehead.
Xing clapped her hands, stepped back, and examined the tied bow like an artist.
She looked at him for a while before nodding, putting her hands on her hips, and moving closer to the guard, pulling out a series of bandages.
"Since your daughter likes it, I'll dress you up into something even cuter and give it to her as a gift."
After saying that, Xing waved his hand.
The firefly understood immediately and ran to the Iron Guard.
"No! No, no, no! Don't come any closer!"
The Iron Guard screamed in agony.
Ignoring everything else, Liu Ying smiled kindly and reached out her hands to press down on Tie Wei's arms.
"Well done! Galaxy Fireman!"
Xing yelled and grabbed Tie Wei's other arm, waving the straps around it.
Before long, Tie Wei was adorned with layers of bows. In particular, a large bow, nearly twenty centimeters in diameter, hung on his chest, resembling a boutonniere worn by a groom at his wedding.
Iron Guard squatted on the ground, on the verge of tears.
A scene flashed through Spa's mind:
A tough, sturdy man, wrapped in a ribbon and tied with a large bow, lay sideways in front of the little girl.
The man's cheeks flushed crimson, and he said shyly:
"Darling, tonight I am your gift..."
The image, even just imagining it, made him burst out laughing.
Xing stuck out her tongue, grabbed Liu Ying's small hand, and ran away from Tie Wei.
Fireflies followed the stars, running quickly with small steps, and deep in their hearts, they dreamed of the time they had spent together.
I wish time could stand still forever, so that we could run on forever and never be apart again!
Xing stopped and turned to look at Liu Ying:
"Have I seen you somewhere before?"
Xing said casually.
Her tone was languid, revealing no trace of seriousness.
However, what was said unintentionally was taken to heart by the listener.
As if electrocuted, Liu Ying trembled all over, stretched out her little hand, turned around and ran away into the distance.
Snap! Snap snap snap...
Her feet pounded heavily on the snow as she walked further and further away.
Xing reached out, but couldn't grasp the firefly's silhouette.
She watched the girl slowly shrink, tilted her head, and wondered, but ultimately did not chase after her.
Alas! Human memory!
Spall witnessed everything and shook his head.
But he wasn't a star after all. He didn't watch the firefly go away, but followed the girl's figure and turned to the right side of the hotel ruins.
There was no one else there, only Liu Ying, leaning against the wall, gazing up at the night sky, her eyes sparkling with stars.
A shooting star streaked across the sky, like a thing of the past; she reached out her hand, but grasped nothing.
"This is the script."
Fireflies murmured to themselves, their forms disappearing into the darkness.
"Is it really okay for you to be like this?"
Spah stood beside the girl and spoke gently.
Liu Ying must be feeling incredibly sad inside. As a man, I need to be by her side.
Spah was thinking to himself when he saw the girl turn her head, slightly furrow her brows, her pupils devoid of any warmth.
"Spar, you're really amazing. Without you, even if I turned into Sam, I might not have been able to solve this."
"I just did what I was supposed to do."
Spall said softly.
Yes! It's something that needs to be done.
Firefly whispered softly, her gaze no longer fixed on Spa, but instead she raised her head and stared directly at the dark night sky.
"I have done what I needed to do. Now, I bid you farewell. See you in the future!"
Liu Ying cupped her hands in a respectful gesture and forced a smile. After speaking, she raised her arm, waved it in the air, and turned to leave.
The girl's figure grew smaller and smaller.
"Have you forgotten? If we don't resolve the Star Core crisis and the orbital blockage isn't resolved, none of us will be able to leave," Spah shouted.
"what?"
The fireflies stopped in their tracks.
She stared at the white snow on the ground, lost in thought for a long time, then turned around, walked step by step to Spa, and said:
“There’s something about the star core that you should have already noticed.”
Chapter 70 Pleasure Should Be Bondage Play
Spah nodded.
He understood what the fireflies meant.
Although the multifaced monster was dead, its memories had merged into his body. But Spa felt something was amiss.
Too little!
He absorbed far too little memory essence in the end. And the ocean of memory essence can hold far more than that.
"The Multifaced Monster is only part of the Sea of Memories. I'm afraid there's a second gathering point of Memories besides the Goethe Hotel," Spa said.
"I think so too."
Firefly nodded: "Moreover, such a strange phenomenon is most likely caused by the star core."
"A star core? I can't just leave it unattended."
Spa clenched his fist and moved his feet.
But before he had taken more than a few steps, he heard the rustling sound of leather boots crunching in the snow.
Spa looked toward the source of the sound and saw Pera blushing slightly, her hands clasped in front of her, and her body leaning closer.
I'm sorry you had to see that.
"It's nothing, I forgot about it."
Spa chuckled, and seeing the blush on Pera's face fade, he raised an eyebrow and returned to his poker face.
Pera slightly pursed her lips, striking a mechanical smile:
"As a courtesy to outsiders, I urge you to visit Kripper Castle. The High Warden will welcome you warmly."
"No need!"
Spah reached out to stop Pera from continuing.
He always prioritizes efficiency in his work and particularly dislikes formalities, especially when meeting with superiors.
Even though he used to work at the company, he would skip meetings whenever possible until Jade issued his final ultimatum.
It's more convenient to just find the star core than to go through formalities.
“I only have one question now. It concerns the life and death of this planet.” Spall yawned and frowned.
"What is it! Tell me now!"
Pera's smile vanished, replaced by a serious expression. She was also someone who preferred getting things done to mere pleasantries.
